Their squad looks very strong. The match at Portman Road on Wednesday will not be an easy walkover.

Regarding Ipswich, are tickets available for Wednesday? Doesnt seem to be anything on the Club site. Is it POTD?

No POTD apparently, all ticket.
Seems an odd decision to me.

That's pretty impressive they beat RB Leipzig! Tough game but I guess they will rest a few players so you never know

Could really do without a long Wednesday trip to Ipswich ahead of Barnsley (who are at home on Tuesday), for an expected beating. I'd be tempted to mix it up from Saturday. Maybe start Taylor and Crama in defence. Evans and Sinclair in midfield/wing.

Surely one of the worst draws we could have got, hopefully no extra time etc. As much as I hate going out this cup in the first round each season I'd rather lose this with a weaker team and be full strength on Saturday for the ferrets strokers

Fitness test for squad players - likely a 3-0 loss, although we might sneak something if we're solid. Not too bothered!

Ipswich sold out of season tickets so cup matches are the only chance some of their fans have of attending a home match.

Maybe start Taylor and Crama in defence. Evans and Sinclair in midfield/wing. As we still have a few players out injured, I don't expect wholesale changes. However, a lot of those who were on the bench on Saturday should be starting in my opinion. Belshaw, Crama, Taylor, Sinclair and Evans should all be starting. Not sure if Grant is able to start but at least he should get some minutes off the bench. If we can get some of the injured players back on the bench with the view of giving them some minutes that would also be great.

Last season the players stayed in a hotel overnight before the Crawley game. I would suspect that they do similar for Wednesday so will probably travel to somewhere just this side of London today, so the daily travelling distances will not be so bad. Let's face it, many clubs don't put out the best X1 for the league cup these days, so both sides will make a host of changes. We can still put out a decent line up if we use the non starters from Saturday. I know some are not fit but as a second string Belly, Gibbons, Taylor, Crama, Friend, Sinclair, Rossiter, Grant, Macca, Evans and Loft, with Hall, Jones, Lawrence and Greenslade, would probably be better than most starting sides we have had in the last few years.

Anyone know how/if you can get a live video stream of this game? Not on iFollow - I guess because Sky are covering the competition?
