Does that include the Quarters being partly used as housing to pay for the stadium improvements. 🤔 That has been pretty obvious from the beginning though, hasn't it? That is why is was bought through a separate entity. The issue again, would be our friend planning permission. It's always been an option but I'm not convinced it would raise that much in terms of stadium development, possibly a bit of funding towards a better Quarters. Looking at the most recent plans, the land was already allocated for Phase 2 and Phase 3. That's probably been superseded by the new co-owner. However, my interest was more the comments about the news being 'let slip' which made me wonder if I missed something. In hindsight it does seem more speculative but worded in a mischievous way.

That's a hell of a thing to come out with. Unfortunately, true. I guess the question here is were they fully furloughed or part furlough and part working? I am assuming by your statement they were fully furloughed?

It's not true currently as there is no proof been offered to say it is regardless of what people say they have in their possession. If it is true then the club will be in an awful pickle with HMRC, especially if there would be a whistle blower willing to substantiate the accusation. Otherwise its just like the specualtion thats on the rest of this thread, EG, Tom Gorringe has been sacked.

I think, with fair change in the tide of this miniscule section of the fanbase, there is a lot of evidence from many sectors to suggest all is not plain sailing in the TG-gate. There's a few anomalies from a few different sources. Speculation will always run rife, but we will see won't we? I'll bet most of you will outlive your GasHead passion way past TG, so we'll be seeing a new dawn in that direction sooner or later.

Your the one making unfounded allegations on here, nobody else seems to be supporting what you've alleged. Any Rovers CEO as a short shelf life compared to Gasheads time supporting the club, although TG seems to be staying around longer than recent people at his level, it's looking likely he could well be the only CEO to oversee a new stand being built which is some achivment in itslef.

In my opinion some of the others aren't here in gaseous form like we are, they're probably guests but they're there. In the real world. This place is such a minute percentage of the fanbase. Ah that makes sense now to stay around to oversee the stand built.... it's already been prolonged due to pieces of incompetence.

Nobody else seems to be denying them either. You're the one alleging fraud that carries a huge fine for the company and a jail sentence for those involved. You have to prove it... Since no proof is forthcoming, I deny it happened.

Im trying to think back when furlough was a thing and Im sure that "CJRS" had to show a contribution on the payslip of each employee. So if you were working and your company was claiming furlough, you would know about it and it would be on your payslip.
No in a small business I would say that was an east work around, but in a company which has upwards of 100 employees, which have to audits for FFP compliance, accounting and FA reporting, not so much.

Presumably any "knowledge" of the club breaking CJRS regulations has been reported on the HMRC portal set up for just that purpose?
This reads like a bitter thread from the "Alternative" forum.

The working on furlough was common place and common talk at that time. Mainly through that first lockdown within the commercial staff trying to keep the club running. Only becomes ‘true’ when those report it with proof of course.
