As Yattongas said much earlier “he’s gone, move on”. Stop drawing attention to him, he’s no longer ‘ours’. Unfortunately he will always be 'ours' for as long as the press refer to him as the former Bristol Rovers manager, which could well be forever if he never works in football again. Just think about it and the damage it has caused us both as a club and a fanbase. We're more split than ever at the moment and years from now there will still be repercussions. |

His staff are mostly gone and we’ve got a new manager who we can all get behind who is uncontroversial off the pitch and on the pitch a manager whom most would say is a decent appointment for our club (even if not top of all of our lists) |

Never once admitted I didn't think he was a piece of sh*t though. Spent months receiving personal vitriol over my opinions of him though, which many on here should look back and feel shame in regards to now. Unlike some though, I don't lead a pathetic enough existence to feel the need to trawl back over years worth of posts to prove it. |

Well in the interest of fairness whilst working from home I listened to the whole 4.5 hours of this podcast today.
The absolute funniest bit of it all is that shortly after he spent all this time telling us all how brilliant he is….he was given the boot and the hijack stopped 😂😂

I never knew if that meant for peanuts by his standards, or literally nothing. Someone will take him. After all, a nice guy like Wael fell for it and Barton's reputation was bad then, as it is now. |
