I agree on all this Wally, Brown isnāt interested to fight. We just need to get to the window, send 5/6, and bring in 4 minimum. Marquis, Bogarde, Gibbons, Crama, Woods can all go and send the loans back. We will be in a relegation fight by then and what makes you so confident that the new manager has better contacts than our previous ones? Iāve never understood the need to replace existing management with other candidates that have just been sacked from a similar job. Makes no sense at all, but the hounders have got what they wanted, a cardboard cut outā¦. You makes your bed and you lie in it. He's gone. Let it go. Support the team. Keep the faith or find something else to do. We don't need fans who are still dwelling on an unsuccessful manager.

Yeh but there's a difference between supporting the manager, and getting through several boxes of kleenex a day Quite ironic. The ones that seem to have the boxes of Kleenex now are the ones who apparently hate him. A weird obsession where they can't stop talking about him. While most of the rest of us, have moved on. I'm not sure I agree with your summation. What has happened on this thread (The Matchday thread) is that some fan boys and fangirls couldn't wait to get the "I told you we shouldn't have sacked JB". The simple fact is that we did, he has gone. We all need to move forward together. We have the JB slagging thread due to the crap he speaks. All those fan boys and fan girls, go an back him over there. You probably think that is a 'Witch Hunt' that he doesn't deserve. Go and be his bestie over there. For me, I bought into the idea that we had a good side. Today was awful, but we do need to be pragmatic. Normally we get beat when we play the team at the bottom of the table, so on that basis it was a point gain... š

Totally agree -- Today we were sh**. How can you agree, how long have you been watching us? 4-0 at Huish to Yeovil, I was at Braintree as well. I think we need to first of all stop making stupid comments like this I've been watching since 1961. And of course I can agree. That today was up there with some of our worst performances ever. Especially the first half. I was also at that 4-0 at Huish as well as the 9-0 at Spurs the 6-1 at Cambridge. So don't tell me what I can agree with or not.

Tactics were awful yesterday. Plan A hit the ball long to Martin who was treading water yesterday. Davies at 38 must have been in dreamland when he saw the teamsheet at 2pm. Should have put on collins so much earlier and had a frontline of pace targeting their defence. Instead as the game went on the more cautious the tactics became not to lose the game. Against a team bottom of the table and at home is a worry.

Yesterdayās first half was very poor, with only Conner Taylor & Vale looking up for it, second half at least we started to look like a team & started to provide a few openings But the new manager needs to be given time, heās walked into a side where some of the staff has moved out & players were letting it made known previously that they wanted Mangan to become the new boss, so it was never going to be easy for him to get the dressing room onboard. Hopefully when Matt Taylor can bring in some of his own back room staff, things should settle down & improve & IMO a talented squad of players will start showing what they are capable of, which at the moment is well short individually & collectively .

Interesting So you would support any person as manage regardless of their criminal background? Is that actually true? I didnāt employ him. So moaning or trying to impose your OWN principles on other BRFC supporters is the correct way to do it? Give overā¦. He who is without sin, cast the first stone. I didn't say you employed him. I asked if you would support any manager regardless of their criminal background?

The only way the club is going to improve is by a near clear-out. I am tired of seeing umpteen dreadful performances with players seemingly having little enthusiasm! As for the loanees, for goodness sake ship them back to parent clubs. Itās a pity a club never put in an acceptable bid for Aaron Collins. Would be hard pressed to sell him for 100,000 now. A very disgruntled Gashead. UTG.

Normally we get beat when we play the team at the bottom of the table, so on that basis it was a point gain... š From where Iām standing, both sides are as bad as each other - youāve got the āhaters & bashersā on one side giving it - āSee, we told you he was a wrong āun. We were RIGHT!ā, and on the other side the āfanboys/fangirlsā giving it āSee, we shouldnāt have sacked him, the new blokeās not as good. We were RIGHT!ā Itās like being in a bloody playground. Bartonās gone, heās not coming back, bad man gone now, no more bad man. Just because some people supported Barton when he was our manager doesnāt make them fanboys/fangirls, bad people, or somehow lesser than or inferior to anyone; by the same token, just because some people didnāt agree with us hiring Barton, because of his past record, past behaviour, perceived personality, etc., doesnāt make them better than anyone else. So can we please just move on and leave all the sneering, the triumphalism, the defensiveness & the whataboutery behind and just get back to supporting Rovers?

Getting back to the match yesterday the most frustrating thing for me all game and in almost every home match this season is this...
Everytime Cox has the ball hunt pulls right out to the right touchline and was/is always in acres of space ready to start a really dangerous attack. Cox never ever saw/sees him and always goes left.
I could excuse it happening in one match but it's all the bloody time. Surely after the match when the coaches watch the games back they can see this and say to him. Look f**king right !!!!
Honestly hunt could have had at least 4-5 attacking opportunities yesterday if they would just bloody play the ball out to him.

In principle yes, but if they appointed someone who would bring the cub in to disrepute, someone with criminal record of violence, someone who was a convicted sexual predator....no, absolutely not. Blind faith is not appropriate is it?

We just need to encourage everyone to pull in the same direction, that's all. Of course. That has been the issue from Feb 21. We haven't been pulling in the same direction. Match Day threads this season has been: 1) We are world beaters, we are going up. 2) We are sh*te we are facing a relegation battle. Complete polar opposites. I am concerned that between now and the rest of the season, the MDT will be: 1) See, I told you we shouldn't have sacked JB. 2) See, I told you sacking him was the right decision. This is just going to compound any animosity between posters. As a group, the Mods need to work out how to police this. Maybe as some have mentioned, from now on JB threads need to go into general chat. Maybe any mention of JB on a MDT needs a 24hr ban. Otherwise the toxicity is only going to increase whether the results are in our favour or against us.

Quelle surprise I'm not the one constantly bringing his name up and banging on about him every 5 minutes. Also my views were pretty much the same as yours. I'm not sweeping anything under the carpet. I've just moved on, whereas you have a weird obsession with him.
