What's all the moaning about, the Barton bashers got what they wanted league 2 quality instead of league 1 promotion chasers. You should be happy and celebrating, you chose this just remember that When were we league one promotion chasers? A win percentage of 27% in league one doesn’t get you promoted mate. injuries, now they are back things would have changed

Apart from that it’s been dross and mainly losses 👍🏻

Taylor's in a similar position to Barton was when he came in. Inheriting an imbalanced squad, low on confidence, following poor recruitment from a predecessor not up to the job. Are we allowing Taylor not to own the results until the end of the next transfer window when he can replace our so-called strikers for a start?

Big difference, Mr Barton made good contacts through his playing career…. And used them in our favour. I await to see the quality of Mr Taylor’s signings…..

I agree on both counts and for balance rather being an anti-Barton post, we have had a real problem over many years making the transition from mid-table league 1 to challenging at the top (excluding the brief flirtation with the playoffs under GC). Trolls and DC met their downfall when replacing the players who had got us there with established players brought in to take us to the next level. Even Holloway hit the wall when he brought in expensive, proven players like Mickey Evans, Scott Jones and Mark Foran. Sacking all three managers didn't end well, and history tells us MT could be another Garry Thompson, Dave Penney or Ben Garner. But he's got a good record and could be a gem, so personally I'm giving him my full support and hoping he can pull it out of the bag in January

It's a really difficult one to dissect this and I don't think there is any right answer.
To start, even under the defeats and draws in Barton's reign we have never ever looked as poor as we have in the last 2 league matches. Orient and today were an absolute disgrace and no other word fits the performances as aptley as the word disgrace particularly today.
However we are in transition. There are clearly players in this squad who didn't want Barton to go and wont play for Taylor. We need to limp any way we can to 50 points and start again next season with a Matt taylor squad.

Maybe not a bounce, but MT correctly identified the substitutions needed.
He has a right to let all senior professionals to play for their place, and over the coming weeks he'll know by the start of the transfer window what we need, and possibly more importantly, how we should be coached and managed.....that affects potential bouncy bouncy.
But remember, every bounce sees an up, and down.
Hopefully we're doing the very temporary down, before the longer upppppp.....?

That's the hope but after managing just 11 L1 games he might not have a clue what he's doing, yesterday's first half performance does make you wonder. What was his half time talk? "Forget all I told you before the game and just play how you were all playing before I arrived?"
