Don’t think there is a revolt just a load of players who are currently a bit lost after going into the season expecting big things and everything going to sh** around them. Just need a few new heads and some coordinating. Exactly as I see it. I wouldn’t say it’s gone completely to s##t, just need our attacking players to hit some form. Collins, Thomas, Brown and Vale are more than capable of hurting any team in this division - challenge now is to get them firing!! UTG I agree. Just thinking from their perspective. Putting what’s happened to one side with Thomas and Barton, and any thoughts on Barton as manager. These players signed up to play for him and were invested in him so losing him and then Mangan in succession must have knocked them for six. There was someone on Radio Bristol last night saying this group is mentally weak and I have to agree with them. I don’t think they’re coping well with the way the season isn’t quite going to plan and they need a pick me up. Hopefully MT is strong with man management as he’ll need to be - the way he was speaking in the dugout to players gives me encouragement.

I'll give it a go: 33Cox Doesn't care who is manager, just wants game time until the next international break. 42HuntBooked at 45mins I reckon Hunt is one of them. He must be feeling that as an older player moving towards the end of his career, he is in the firing line. 17Taylor I thought he looked out of it first half, seemed to be second to the ball. Looked she'll shocked in 1st half. Maybe in the revolt but for me it's 50:50. 2nd half I thought he played better, though not at his normal high standard. 5Wilson Will put him in the same situation as Hunt. He must be thinking his time is up. I don't think he has been that good this season even under the old manager. 28GibbonsSubstituted forGrantat 45'minutes Both Gibbons and Grant are in the revolt in my eyes. 8Ward I think he wants to play. He needs to have someone with him in midfield that he trusts. 6FinleySubstituted forEvansat 55'minutes Yes, maybe the leader of the revolt. Its a shame really as he before this season he was moving towards getting gas legend status. Won MOM loads last season 11Thomas Confidence player and he has none at the moment. We might need to reasses whether he is good enough for this level. He runs his little heart out but the end product is rarely there. Had a great chance yesterday but his first touch was awful. 20BrownSubstituted forCollinsat 80'minutes Not in the revolut. Just sh*te at the moment. Starting to think this so called £2m player we got on a free can go in Jan, would take £1m on 1st Jan for him. 19Vale Like Cox just wants to get game time and experience. I don't think it's worth his time getting involved in club politics, he'll be going back to Chelsea where the rate him. 18Martin Weird one. He does seem p*ssed off. But the fact that he was arguing with Mangan against Orient suggests that he is not in the Revolt (unless the revolt was to put him in charge). He has done well since arriving, but we should really be looking at Peterborough who had a strategy of having young strikers who can create the press and score goals. One of the things I thought was interesting yesterday was that if you didn't know DC was in charge of them, the crowd wouldn't have given it away. I didn't hear anyone saying "should never have got rid of Clarke". This is all just made up guess work unless you know the players personally? But as you’ve said you gave it a go. Of course it is made up guess work. Never tried to tout it as anything else. I do buy into a feud in the dressing room. What it is about, I'm not sure. It could be about Brown not putting in any effort!

If the players are making some sort of protest then why did they totally outplay Crawley for 45 mins? The likes of Finley have been poor since around last December not just since JB's dismissal.

Maybe the issue happened at half time of that game? Who knows? Neither you or I.

They haven’t all been bad some have been good , Taylor , Thomas for example. I don’t think we’re a million miles away from having a top half team we just need to get the out of form players that we know who can do better like Collins and brown performing and bring at least one good striker in. Marquis hasn’t impressed me at all and I think Finley will probably leave now the scousers at the top have. 3 or 4 out and 3-4 in over January coukd completely change our squad for the better or worse. Fingers crossed Taylor gets it right.

Players signed to play a passing game, manager leaves..... New manager implementing a more direct style, players uncomfortable playing this way, different players required. I've watched Taylors style at both Exeter and Rotherham, very direct, second ball teams. Doesn't mean to say it won't be different here? But the owners must be aware they've signed a manager that isn't going to follow after the project that Barton started? For Taylor to be successful, it's going to cost the owners some serious backing.

A lot of fans seem to be slagging players off as not trying, downing tools, not playing for the manager blah, blah blah. The reality for most is they are struggling to fit in to the managers tactics and some are just lacking in confidence. I don’t think we’ve got too many bad apples in the squad.

45 minutes of some of the best football I’ve seen us play this season. Followed by 135 minutes of the worst.

We don't have a vision or identity really, it's basically "hire someone who did well somewhere else and fingers crossed it works out". Hasn't changed since DC left, every new manager had a completely different way of playing.

What's all the moaning about, the Barton bashers got what they wanted league 2 quality instead of league 1 promotion chasers. You should be happy and celebrating, you chose this just remember that Absolute bollox - we didn't want Barton here in the first place. Give Matt Taylor time and he will come good. The haters did not want Joey at the club. Speak for yourself not We. Tisdale 2 was a average centre back playing the majority of his football for Team Bath and Exeter City, he will not have many useful contacts in the premiership. Lets see how many Elliot Anderson type players he brings to the club in January.

I just checked the stats for his last game at Exeter when we drew 2 2. Exeter had 58% and passed the ball 335 times to our 263.

A lot of clubs wouldn't loan Barton players, as he had fallen out of them at some stage! All managers can easily bring in players on loan. The clubs will look at your facilities, how much the player will play, how much you will pay towards their wages etc. If anything Bartons reputation would have made it harder for us.

He has inherited a poor squad, once he has got a few in we will see him instill his mark on the side, some of our fans are too impatient he is not a magician 😂🏴☠️
