Will be interesting to see what new manager bounce they expect at Forest.
Respected by fans and players, the owners seem to have misguided opinions of what they expect.
From the outside it looks like he has done a fantastic job.

From the outside it looks like he has done a fantastic job. 1 win in 13 games. Defensive style. Dropping like a stone. Think sacking him was the only decision to be honest. Don't get me wrong he's done well there but they are on a downward trajectory and I think they are more likely to improve with someone else at the helm. Not like the owners haven't invested at all. |

Which was odd in itself. He shipped 5 goals on his debut and then JB (in his infinite wisdom) announced that we had to play him in the next 2 games or we would have to spend a chunk of money. Rather than saying he had faith in him and wanted to give him another chance he threw the lad under a bus a bit and said he had to start him in the next few games contractually. Which didn't fill us fans with confidence and must have impacted the players too. Even more odd is that MT appears to agree having started cox in all three games which includes “pointless cup games” Maybe there is something in the detail of the loan that says he has to play? |
