Yeah that's my thoughts, well if that is what happened then he's shot himself in the foot there Or playing a clever game as he knows that he'll be on a free come the season and can then demand a signing on fee? Perhaps that's his agents argument pay JCH £10K p.w now, or pay him a £250K signing on fee in the summer plus £5K or £7.5K p.w. in the summer? |

Your guess is as good as mine as to why the request for a 15-minute extension was lodged at 11:01pm and the transfer itself at 11:17pm. |

A club could offer Peterbrough a higher transfer fee than Rovers but JCH will want to go to the club who offers the best deal for himself. Therefore Peterborough will have to accept an offer from the club where JCH wants to go or lose him for nothing in the summer.

Think we dodged a bullet in not signing him. Could well have caused a lot of friction when other players knew of his wages |

Could well have caused a lot of friction when other players knew of his wages Harvey Vale seems to get on well with his teammates and he's apparently earning £25K a week? Likewise neither does Martin's rumoured £5 a week wage. If JCH scored the goals to get us into the top 6 and so generate more bonuses for the players then I doubt it would cause too much friction. |

Some players earn slightly more, Vale is on loan, we are not paying him that. 5k if true isn't much more. A bit different to a player earning double at the same club. Every players agent at our club would be straight on the phone! |
