It's unnecessary and provocative terminology like this that also needs to stop (on both sides of the fence) otherwise the forum will continue to suffer. Is the forum suffering? Seems to be as much traffic as normal People always come and go and have done for years. There's plenty of traffic, but it doesn't mean it's a good read and there are noticeable absentees. Threads have increasingly become personal attacks between posters and any reasonable debate lost along the way. If that's your thing, then so be it, but I believe the forum is suffering. |

Nah, I’ve been called a hater on here for months for not liking Barton. The same people started moaning about Taylor after one league match. Don’t give out what you can’t take back. #screamsfromthehaters #blokesaborefest 🙄 |

I’m confused. Are the haters general haters? Or the haters just for the Joey haters? Or the MT haters? Haters everywhere. I hate it. Seems to be one of those words that gets put about to describe people with a different view from themselves. Like snowflakes, or woke . It’s all bullshit , we’re entitled to our opinions and we’ve all got them. Personally I didn’t like Barton the person or most of his views on things unrelated to Rovers but as our manager I thought he did ok not great. Dunno if that makes me a hater or if haters will hate me for it and I really don’t care. Up The Gas. |

Getting daft now. albaron was right and away the pettiness starts again. Whys it daft? Had to put up with it on social media, at the ground and elsewhere for 2.5 years for not liking the previous manager. Nobody seemed to care then. |

Totally agree , I don’t come on here to read Gasheads calling each other names and tearing strips off of each other. Sad to say it but when I looked on the shithead forum today to see their reaction to their poor start under Manning they actually seemed more grown up and better at debating their situation than a lot on here do as they at least weren’t squabbling like a bunch of kids. |

Please can certain posters stop referring to others as haters just because they supported Joey Barton. Yes I was firmly in the Barton camp. But I now recognise he has gone and so I am fully behind Matt Taylor. I also want Rovers to win every match as I would imagine all Rovers fans will do. So in the interest of common sense can certain supporters refrain from calling others haters. I thought a Hater was someone who disliked JB? Maybe we should get the definitions agreed before we stop using them? Agree with Albaron I think I personally called them hounders…. Hounding other BRFC supporters because they were supporting the team at the time (not necessarily supporting the departed manager). The supporters didn’t employ the manager. I can only relate the hounders to being something like them having a go at the monkey about the tune being played and not having the guts to take it up direct with the organ grinder (the BRFC board direct). Happy to see a good away win and as I mentioned before if Matt Taylor can get us going in the right direction and finish above 11th position then all is positive. Long way to go, let’s see where we are come the end of January. Hopefully above 11th position and ahead of bl**dy Northampton!! |

I think we need a Venn diagram showing the complex overlap between the Barton Haters,the 'Tisdale2' haters, the ones who used to love Barton but now hate him, and the other forum, who hate everyone at the club since 2001.

It is OK to call someone a "hater" if they say anything negative about JB (our Lord and Saviour). It is not OK to call someone a "hater" if they say something negative about MT (particularly if the motivation for doing so is purely because they are still mourning the loss of JB.. eg. those who instantly started referring to the new gaffer as Tisdale 2) Barton cult logic. It is okay for somebody who would not have the bottle to call Joey a Fool or similar to his face to instantly do so on Gas Chat once they know he is no longer at the club, hmm, pot kettle black. |
