I'd get rid of Bogarde - don't see what anyone sees in him.
I'd also try to offload Clarke and Josh Grant. Clarke too injury prone, same for Grant, plus I don't think he is good enough to play in our midfield, and is a really poor left back when asked to fill in

Grant for me, as i have said before, is good cover for many positions so would keep. One day he'll find his best one. I think DCM eventually. Bogarde has been a little hit and miss but would still keep as he doesnt get injured or sent off like most of our midfield!
to leave, Assume Belshaw, possibly Martin due to contract expiry, no idea what MT will make of the Clarke situation.
Wonder if we'll see a few arrivals from Rotherham or Exeter? LB/LWB, CB cover and Striker most critical. Goalie situation needs to be sorted too

Assume they dont count so could play for us or move to any other club in Jan. Notts supporters are keen - imagine that would be his dream move?

True. Didn’t Ben Garnish sign about 8 and for it to be declared “best January window ever” by some though?

I’d be happy with a decent left wing back and a young, fast striker
Should we keep Martin? I would.
I’d let go of Bogarde, Gibbons and Belly
Nothing too major, be nice to see Rossiter again one day!

If we're serious about play offs then we need a minimum of 2 strikers left winger and a left back.

Left back would seem obvious, but if we're playing 3 at the back then it's unneeded.
I think we probably need at least another CB and a ST. The second one will obviously be the most expensive.

I’d definitely look to keep Bogarde for the rest of the season I think he’s good enough for this level and looks to play the ball forwards which wasn’t Barton’s thing but in the style that Taylor has introduced I think he could be a very important player for us . Also with Rossiter possibly not playing again this season and Finley not getting any younger and three central midfielders being Taylor’s way mostly this season we need plenty of central midfielders. I’d be surprised if we found someone better in Jan if we did send him back.

If we're serious about play offs then we need a minimum of 2 strikers left winger and a left back. If 352 is what Taylor is looking at moving forwards then I doubt a traditional left back is what he’s looking for. Or a left winger. We’ve got Vale and Gordon who can both play LWB and friend who can play as a more defensive left back. In the right we’ve got hoole who is more of a traditional right back and gibbons , hunt and now Thomas who can play RWB I’d like to see us bring in a striker as we’ve only really got three and have been playing with two and need cover there. A young striker who’s been tearing it up in league 2 or the conference would be my preference over spending massive money on JCH. It would keep Collins and big Jon and Martin on their toes and hopefully we’d keep scoring plenty like we have in the last couple of games. Not much happens in January so 4 or 5 out and 4 or 5 in won’t happen I think. Small steps and all that.

Wonder if MT has knowledge of our previous interest in JCH? Suspect Brown may be surplus possibly.

Wonder if MT has knowledge of our previous interest in JCH? Suspect Brown may be surplus possibly. Why wouldn't he have knowledge, it's not like it was a closely guarded secret? MT seems to be a big fan of Brown, I'd be surprised if he was moved on in January.
