Great 1st half but too many chances missed and outclassed by a country mile on the counter. Couldn’t really see the pen but the move that led up to it left us for dead, and took the wind out of our sails. No drama, they were the better side when it mattered. Oh well, on we go. Def need to strengthen in a few areas as we knew.

The ref absolutely stitched us up tonight. I was inline with their first goal. He was about 3 yards offside. The pen was never a pen, and their 3rd was a hand ball.
Really really poor ref and linesman.
Norwich had a touch tonight. They were so vanilla to watch. Such a dull club.

5 second half mins has ultimately cost us but for the majority of that game we've more than held our own against a very good championship side.
Again though the reoccurring theme is that we create the better chances but still end up on the wrong end. The same as Saturday Cox hasn't really made a difficult save & their keeper has made 2 top saves at the other end.
Plenty of good performances particularly Taylor, Grant & Thomas. Play offs probably a distant dream but there's definitely the nucleus of a good side there

Great show tonight from the fans and the team. Norwich had an abundance of pace, which is exactly what we lack and feel Matt T has eluded to this fact. Oh well, loved hearing and seeing the mem rocking once more. Well done all.

I can't say I am sure, but looking forward to the highlights to see. |

Even down the far end on the East, the lad who tapped in the equaliser looked like he was stood next to the post when the initial shot came in. |

Not a lot in it tonight. We had enough chanced to bury them. Story of our season, missed some glorious opps, and they take theirs.
They were OK, lightning going forward, but very very very dodgy at the back. If LFC put a half decent side out they'll get absolutely murdered. Personally I want them to. Had some real Offensive in that team. £30m for Rowe... Clown spent most of the time moaning and falling over. Ashley Barnes was awful - he came on as sub and already looked like he had played 120 for thr reserves this afternoon. Absolute carthorse

Agree re the offside for their first goal and a definite handball on the edge of their box, the player controlling it with his hand. Was following the ball and didn’t see the foul for the penalty. |

I reckon we scored too early. Norwich were sleepwalking out of the cup until somebody galvanised them into life with a rollicking half time team talk. 0-0 at half time and they don’t get a passion injection…. We score 20 minutes into the second half rather than the first and the game is ours.
