Nigel Martin over Brian Parkin for me.
Brian (show us your arse) Parkin was great until the back pass law changed, he didn't appear to agree with it in principle and seemed to sulk at not being able to pick the ball up.
Nigel (England's number one) Martin was superb, a goalkeeper who had that rare talent of always looking favourite in a one on one

During my time watching Rovers it would be...
Jim Eadie Martin Thomas Nigel Martyn Brian Parkin (even though as mentioned he couldn't get to grips with the back pass rule when it was introduced)

Was only lucky enough to see Martyn who was my favourite, strangely appreciated Gavin Kelly more than I should have.

Mine would be: Bernard Hall, Dick Shepherd, Brian Parkin, Ronnie Briggs. Bernard hall in the sixtes in old D2 (championship ) and D3. I first went to Eastville in 1957 and big crowds over 20K. Think Hall is now 80 and still around

Bernard was fearless. Got kicked in the head by a CF at home to Crewe(?) finished his career but carried on as a groundsman .

Purely because that 1996/97 grey keeper top was the absolute nuts!

David Mehew. Mark McCritical. Jockey, there above. and... Bob Wilson. Bob was Ron Green's replacement had he not recovered from injury. Didn't actually play or even sign, did he? Doing Bobby Gould a favour. Also a bit of coverage on Football Focus.
