Still a gashead, love the club. Sadly getting more enjoyment at 3pm on a Saturday watching non league.
Officials are just woeful. But the game itself really enjoyable, get to speak to managers, chairman of these clubs. Very down to earth proper football.
Just wish our owners get there finger out and understand if they are not careful support will start to run out, until 1 - they change 2- someone else arrives and changes things or 3- as people have said the supporters take over.

Noticed at Wrexham the first thing they did was bring in Shaun Harvey knowing they had zero experience or knowledge of how to run a football club. Who do we have as equivalent?

So sad the lack of leadership, signings, scouting network, proper coaching back up and a modest new stand the only discernible stadium upgrade in over 50 years.Quarters a big plus but the promised upgrade still no news and Tuesday's performance as bad as I can recall. Will watch local stuff Sat as Tues' was so depressing.

We have Tom Gorringe, he has worked at 4 different clubs, still only 33, flawless in everything he has done for Rovers. An inspiration !

Well, if that does not draw a response from the club, it will tell us everything and what many have been saying for quite sometime. Fair play to Dan Hargreaves for putting it out there.

What a depressing read and sadly one in which Gas heads through the decades have become accustomed to. A director from a fellow league 1 side (who have also had their share of problems) asked me what do you know about the new owner ?, we cant find anything concrete!! - my reply was: SNAP!! I believed like many that Wael would do the right thing and bring in the right “honest” individuals., has he been fooled ? - Who are these people ?. Yep it’s the “here we go again” syndrome. Who would be a ruddy Gas head ? - Amongst the best fans in the land, who deserve so much more, it is sadly depressing to keep living these shambolic offerings. I still say “They built a new stand - that is progress” but the overall picture is confusing at best and depressing in reality. UTFG 🙄

A bit sad that the days of local gashead businessmen running the club has gone. We are not unique in this, but at least in the days of the successful suporter running the club we all knew they were there for the right reasons and giving it 100% even if it did not go to plan. Also nice when we had a board of owners each with smaller share of the club - at least meant some form of agreement had to happen at a board level.
Also very sad that a lot of the volunteers who did things for the love of club have gone.

Brave article, a piece like that can easily get you blacklisted from training ground/fixtures.

UTFG 🙄 It still isn't clear how the deal that Wael made to sell his shares was structured. It looks to me as if the shares were simply bought from Wael meaning the cash is in his pocket with no benefit to the club.

I think the main reason for the sale was that Wael could not continue to finance the loss each year. Who knows how much was actually paid, it may have been more of a handover in return for an agreement ( or hope ) that they would help fund the loss. Also interesting in how the loss gets funded, ie do they stump up 60% of the loss and Wael 40% .....
