I think the main reason for the sale was that Wael could not continue to finance the loss each year. Who knows how much was actually paid, it may have been more of a handover in return for an agreement ( or hope ) that they would help fund the loss. Also interesting in how the loss gets funded, ie do they stump up 60% of the loss and Wael 40% ..... Wael will basically be liable for funding his percentage of the loss as part of his ownership, But on the flip side as the minority shareholder he won't be making the decisions.

Or are local journalists, enamoured with the lovely facilities and champagne at the Gate simply sh stirring? No. We absolutely need to lose this inferiority and victim complex that anyone that criticises anything to do with BRFC must be doing it because they are a shithead! Its part of the problem as to why we are where we are! I don't understand people who are so easily pleased. It really is like they are just happy to get out the house on a Saturday. The club needs to be better, a lot better, too long have we been fed sh**e, not really prepared for us to be taking for a ride again. The owners need to show they know what they are doing and we are actually going places.

Or perhaps how much they had allowed him to control at the club ...... Should never be so dependant on a manager that you can't replace him - In all honesty during the interview after Barton was sacked it did seem the owner was aware of this being a mistake.

Love or hate him Shows how much joey Barton was holding the club together I think both sides will agree with this What many of us worried about though was if/when he left we would be screwed as we had become JBFC. This has been proved right. Now over to the owners to do as they said and (quickly) build the backroom staff needed for a successful, sustainable club.

JB got us promoted which left Wael in a difficult position with regards to EJ, imagine the meltdown if he joined another club as Well refused to employ him after we were promoted. It seems everybody can run Rovers better than Wael and the new owners!

But where was this energy post Charlton and a superb December?🙃4 weeks hell of a long time down the Mem I could be wrong but it all seems like a massive overreaction to me. I honestly think if we didn't have all the injuries we've had over the last few weeks we would have picked up a lot more points and this discussion wouldn't be happening. In full agreement, win the next 3 and there won’t be a peep about anything of the sort. As reactionary as it gets

We somehow managed to go for Conseh. We definitely need an recruitment team. The new owner might be trying to do everything himself and cost cutting, but hopefully he will learn from his mistakes and realize it's harder than he thought! No harm in trying to get the right staff on less money, when we are losing millions a season. But there comes a time when you have to think, I'm not getting the adequate staff, for what I'm paying. They might have got lucky and got some gasheads to do it cheaper than the going rate, if they got Rovers related perks. It's not been good enough, but as I said all along,I will give them a year before over reacting.

I think the reality is that a business is only as good as the people within it. You have to understand as the head of any organisation, that you cannot possibly be involved in every single little facet of it. The club has good people within who just need to be allowed to do their work, rather than being hamstrung by people who aren't experienced in it. Particularly when it comes to regulations. Not having a club secretary is madness imo.

If the owner's son is doing that then you do have to wonder what MT's doing to assist in the search, whilst JB didn't seem to have a scouting network he was still able to sign players like EA, LT & Coburn. MT seemed to lack a DoF at Rotherham and claimed that's why he struggled, its therefore a bit surprising he accepted the Rovers job when no DoF was in place.

Having had the very great misfortune to have spent some time in Kuwait with work, I witnessed first hand the prevailing attitude of many towards who they consider second-class citizens. These include employees, people in service industries, anyone undertaking manual work, the vast migrant worker population and many other groups.
My point here is that pernicious, superiority complex which is evident in so many alleged "leaders" in business and society in general, in that rotten country, may have permeated into our owners. If so, they need to realise that shut doesn't work in the UK.
