Having had the very great misfortune to have spent some time in Kuwait with work, I witnessed first hand the prevailing attitude of many towards who they consider second-class citizens. These include employees, people in service industries, anyone undertaking manual work, the vast migrant worker population and many other groups. My point here is that pernicious, superiority complex which is evident in so many alleged "leaders" in business and society in general, in that rotten country, may have permeated into our owners. If so, they need to realise that shut doesn't work in the UK. Not sure "rotten country" is needed and I've been as vocal as most about the delivery recently. Understand the sentiment- cultural differences might be to blame.

If the owner's son is doing that then you do have to wonder what MT's doing to assist in the search, whilst JB didn't seem to have a scouting network he was still able to sign players like EA, LT & Coburn. MT seemed to lack a DoF at Rotherham and claimed that's why he struggled, its therefore a bit surprising he accepted the Rovers job when no DoF was in place. Hopefully it was promised and it will be in place well before the end of season Didn’t Holloway suggest he was set to come in part time in an upstairs role, but the new owners went quiet on the idea ?

Understand the sentiment- cultural differences might be to blame. Lived and worked there for four years 1991-5. Met some decent Kuwaiti and their love of football, particularly English football is not in doubt. The comments about superiority complexes are spot on though. It isn't a meritocracy in Kuwait! There are nine classes of citizenship!

But where was this energy post Charlton and a superb December?🙃4 weeks hell of a long time down the Mem There have been concerns for a long time, some of us voice them more so than others. Even if we won the next 3 or 4 games, that would not stop me from being concerned about the direction the club is going in. We don't go a week, definitely a month, without there being another story about how something at the club has gone wrong. I am fed up of us being mediocre. Just to add a family member of mine was going to buy a seat in the East stand for Tuesdays game, it was near £40. It's an insult when we can even sign players. How many league 1 clubs charge near £40 for a seat. The club need to start treating us with some respect as paying supporters who will be here when they move on. I question their heart to progress Rovers. I can just about put up with mediocrity. It’s the being totally crap that I have problems with. (But I get your drift! 😉) UTG!

We'll still be left without a scouting network and recruitment department, unless you think the owners son searching on wyscout for players is adequate. If the owner's son is doing that then you do have to wonder what MT's doing to assist in the search, whilst JB didn't seem to have a scouting network he was still able to sign players like EA, LT & Coburn. The only research he has done is read Gaschat. Of course it isn’t lazy journalism, he’s clearly talked to people at the club who are frustrated, he wouldn’t go to print and throw barbs at the owners and risk his job if he didn’t feel he was on firm ground. Sure he can pick up on the mood of the fans on here but that’s about it. It’s a courageous piece that could get him banned from the club!

Love or hate him Shows how much joey Barton was holding the club together I am not sure how this conclusion that can be drawn here tbh (although I am very firmly in the hate Joey Barton camp - even more so, if that were possible, given his recent social media meltdowns) Barton recruited his backroom staff (and players!) before AlSaeed took ownership. Are we forgetting JB was in charge when the JCH transfer deadline drama occurred? Even I am not saying that debacle was Barton's fault BTW - but if we are suggesting that the club is falling apart under Matt Taylor (like it is his fault we can't sign players or staff??) then you can't ignore the foundations were already wobbling under Barton's management on that basis...

What is it in the report that makes you think "he’s clearly talked to people at the club who are frustrated"?

DH is an idiot, yesterday he claimed that we were in danger of being in free fall, today publishes another article suggesting we have matched the highest ever transfer fee we've paid, although I don't believe we've paid as much as £375K for a L2 DCM anyway.

I could be wrong but it all seems like a massive overreaction to me. I honestly think if we didn't have all the injuries we've had over the last few weeks we would have picked up a lot more points and this discussion wouldn't be happening. In full agreement, win the next 3 and there won’t be a peep about anything of the sort. As reactionary as it gets Fed by well known reactionaries on here

A lot of people speaking up and not even about the dreadful performances etc. think this new bunch are tearing the place apart from the inside, if rumours are true, they haven’t stopped yet either! First team, catering, club office all facing big cuts, academy and community next. Staff been sacked, nobody recruited to fill spaces, staff on the sick, more to follow. People aren’t talking just about the recruitment and first team performances. The rest of the club is facing bigger issues, but not under the microscope like first team so owners getting away with it.
