I'm a Cardiff City season ticket holder but our fixture against Blackburn tomorrow has been re-scheduled for a later date as they are still in the FA Cup - and I thought it would be good to pay a visit tomorrow to our brethren in blue across the water (which isn't strictly true as I live on your side). Thanks in anticipation (even for an insult or two ). P.S. By the way (and for those longer in the tooth among you), I was in the same class at school as Jon Moore and Phil Bater. Rovers used to hoover up a lot of talent in S Wales in those days - and from under the noses of the Welsh clubs.

100% The Wellington.
It serves Korev, which is the only reason you need to go there.

Best place for proper flat beer served direct from the cask is The Drapers Arms on Gloucester Road.
Proper pub, proper beer, proper atmosphere. Get there early because it's a bloody nightmare to get in and get slaughtered after 1300. Tiny place, but brilliant. 2nd best drinking establishment in the whole of Bristol.

Welly is a bulk standard pub. No issue with that but for a proper cask ale it has to be the Drapers Arms. They might have the full menu of cheese and onion rolls if you're lucky. They are on social media and that'll show you what type of ale is currently on offer.

Apologies to Mr81, but quite literally anywhere but The Wellington. What was a great pub 15 years ago, is now a generic, overpriced, soulless food place that sells beer. Totally ruined.
The best pub in Bristol is 200 yards from my house, but as it's in BS3, it's 4 miles from the ground.
Draoers then if you like real ale.

East stand bar. They had a great game of 'you'll get what you're given' last week 🙄

Its a great pub but a very tight squeeze at the best of times.

You could try the Annexe at the Sportsman if it's too busy, less of a squeeze

The Sportsman and the Annexe next door for ales. Pool tables galore in the Sportsman and screens everywhere in both.

I refuse to drink anything that resembles the bottom of a washing up bowl after you washed out the roasting tin from a sunday dinner and its has a name like Badgers Bollocks or whatever they try and call it.

The Inn on The Green around a 10 min walk away from the ground which sounds like it would be abit more up your street.
