This is the problem with the forum Madgas, you have highlighted this, you just see the Barton bash. Have you seen the hope MT does bad bash, the undercurrents of it and I’m one who sees it and batts it back! But on the football side, let’s talk this, I’ve been thinking as well, Sinclair off the shoulder of Martin, I’d give him a run as well. I hope Marquis proves me wrong today and it’s another afternoon lf this, Marquis being chased by defenders and caught! I'm neither for or against managers . A manager like a player is accountable to Bristol Rovers . The point I'm raising is performances / results have improved marginally. I hope we win today and it means on a 13 -13 split Taylor is +3 points. But if we draw and lose at Stevenage is record would be worse than Bartons . And you can't undermine data paul. It's the only way to give evidence to an argument. Otherwise judgement is based on prejudice. Fans have a right to opinions. On Tuesday I left 20 minutes before the end . I was home to watch the final results on t.v. I hope for the sake of Taylor we skin Burton today and the players get a standing ovation at the whistle. The data to me totally backs up the squad, a mid table one with the results. If we can get a win today with Marquis our lone no9, it will be a great result. I ask anyone, would any of the sides in our league, of all the 24 be happy with John Marquis as their main striker? I hope he proves me wrong (Marquis), MT got the best out of Martin in January, he’s focussed the whole team around his play, bang, player of the month, is that a stat? He publicly said yesterday our inconsistency and defence got the previous manager the sack, I’m not sure George Graham or Jose could get Wilson, Crama, Grant, Connolly to keep a clean sheet today, Barton, Mangs and now MT struggling? And Barton liked these sorts as he signed them, MT might not like these sorts, some manager are better with certain players, look at Cogs with his and Garner with his style, so is it fair to compare stats right now? |

Sadly that is reality. Most managers inherit the workforce. A clever leader will work amongst the existing structure and expect slightly better results than the ' failed ' person before . Then gradually build his / her own team ( even that may not happen at times). A lot of fans ain't really into the politics of football but want good results ( nothing wrong with that ). Look at the poor guy who managed us from Bath Tisdale . I liked the man really good motivator last 3 months . Also David Penny lovely bloke spoke to my boy when he was a mascot lasted 2 months I think. He really engaged with fans and players . I want Taylor to succeed and hope he gets to the summer and starts a rebuild . I'm just slightly concerned with results and the reaction of fans on Tuesday night . Anyway let's hope he gets us a win today !. |

Make you mind up I thought I was a 40 year old who needed to do an apprenticeship last week. We'll see this afternoon if the players are bothering to turn up for MT, or whether we've got to suffer yet another poor end to a season. I’ve got to admit, I struggle on your age, one thing is for sure, I’m convinced you live at home still with your parents! That’s either at school or in your 40, 50, 60’s 😂👍 I mean let’s look at it, hoping Aguilera can recommend some Costa Rican mates to us, you said this. And now saying players are on purpose ringing in sick for training, just those two statements alone 😂👏 Anyway I hope your swimming lessons went well this morning. Is this really necessary mate ? |

A brilliant debater able to stimulate topics and a wealth of knowledge and experiences . However at times a bit personal and you know it's better to back off. He brings zeal most of us haven't got and I would encourage him to continue but to be a bit more relaxed !. |

Different gravy under MT, 💯 convinced we’d have beaten Fleetwood with him playing, leads by example, hurts when we are losing, grafts like no other in the squad. I can’t believe I am saying this about Sam, he’s one me over, and next to Ward as at Norwich away; played like a Championship midfield pairing |

Surely Ward will be out of the door this summer if MT insists we only retain players who've played 30/40 games for the last 2 or 3 seasons? Not even sure Finley meets that criteria.

You dont need to back off Roady because he is so knowledgeable. He comes back and the forum goes to pot. Loves to tell us who he knows ,now we are going to sign three very good players in the summer. We were 5 points off the Play offs when JB was sacked. Mtty Taylor has done very well (not) I hope he succeeds but so far i have watched more tripe than good and a boring style of football. Roady tells us he is a very good Manager-if he fails Roady will go missing again and then Roady will again return again later. We can survive without him returning!

Yeah That process has served us well! At some point we have to give someone a good spell to create some stability. MT has only signed one player! We just need to pray the un balanced and unfit squad he inherited have enough to keep us out the bottom 4 UTG |
