Let’s all remember back as well how Barton spoke and acted towards a squad he inherited the season we went down!
MT got it wrong last night but he’s dignified and keeps things private what he thinks, so yeah I think we have our rovers back, we have a manager who with morals, manners and professionalism.

Bad night at the office - it happens.
Doesn't help that there was talk of playoffs beforehand. Mid table mediocrity this year unfortunately.
Hopefully re-build v72.6 will get us to where we need to be next season.

Hopefully re-build v72.6 will get us to where we need to be next season. Whilst we would love playoffs, never realistically going to happen, especially given our lack of strength in depth (particularly up front). Given the gap to the play offs, if we can come top of the next group which should see us somewhere between eighth and tenth, this can be seen as progress

Last minute decided not to watch on iFollow when i saw the weather. Right call! Need some leaders for the new season, and a plan b to play against physical teams. So many managers. Same problem! Ah well, back saturday, hopefully a nicer day all round. UTG

Watched in Oz on iFollow . Woke at 3.30 am and witnessed a very poor display.wish I hadn’t set the alarm!!!. Rovers just can’t play in bad weather. We were lightweight with Hull loanee having no impact at all. Ipswich loanee like a bull I’m a china shop and very lucky not to get sent off. Costa Rican guy tried and tried but could not get any of the deadwood going. I thought Vale and Thomas can hold their heads high as they battled hard. we seem so slow going forward. It wasn’t any problem for Fleetwood players cantering back behind the ball whilst rovers played back, sideways with little penareation going forward. fleetwood deserved the win. Taylor the manager now worries me but hope I’m wrong

Making stuff up again. If we're sh**, I'll say we're sh**, regardless of who the manager is Likewise if we play well, I was full of praise after the Oxford win. Anyway now you and your alter ego are happy you've 'GoT yOuR rOvErS bAcK', you must be ecstatic that the 'Marquee' signing who you were boasting about is being asked to play in Defensive Midfield? You must of loved that performance last night? It isn't the first time that Matt Taylor has put a team out at home that has stunk the place out. Of course, anybody that mentions that, must be a paid up member of the Barton Fan Club. First of all, let’s clear something up, you were a massive Barton supporter and you were unhappy he was sacked. My post match post on here said MT got it wrong with the side he picked tonight. The manager inherited a terrible situation and squad. We have a 19 year old in goal because his world class loan signing in front of him is brilliant. The defence changes every game because Hunt, Wilson and Friend can’t stay fit or can’t he trusted to play twice in a week. Let’s judge him properly and not glorify in us losing until he’s got his own side next season. Finley and Ward would have made a massive difference last night, you can carry a Ward (injured a lot) if in the main you have a fit squad and replacements. But again look at him, Bogarde and Woods to replace him, now relying on a kid from Forest to do it straight away. We were all disappointed last night, you glorified in it. I’m just glad he never called Wilson an idiot for his defending and I hope he doesn’t send Bagott back like Bobby Thomas I was not a massive Barton supporter at all.
As you well know as you and Batman stalked me for long enough to find out, I didn't want Barton anywhere near this Football Club from the very start.
I had a change of heart simply because he did what he said he was going to do and got us promoted.
I am sure there are many others who did the same.
When he was sacked, I just didn't feel the need to mention him constantly unlike others. That somehow meant I was head of his Fan Club.
I think i'm balanced. If we're sh*t, i'll say it, and if we play well i'll say it.
I have no agenda, regardless who the manager is.

Hopefully re-build v72.6 will get us to where we need to be next season. This isn’t a standard rebuild, it’s a WSM burnt down pier job. Liam Manning went into Oxford and within 3 months he built a new side but he went into a fully working football department. We need produce a new football department, but what gives me hope is MT and team are already finding gems for us and not pension pot players!

Absolute sh*te! Terrible team selection, game plan, game management and substitutions. That's what you get. If I was Aguilera I'd be wanting to go back to Forest ASAP. You've got an absolute gem of an attacking talent, being asked to play just in front of the back 4. Wasted. Pathetic. Good job we didn't ask Elliot Anderson to play the Makelele role! If this is the Football we are going to be served up the majority of the time under Matt Taylor then I ain't interested. I'm sure I'm not alone. Here you go, your last sentence. Well it’s not his squad so let’s judge his football when it is, I mean he was left with so much pace wasn’t he up front! You ain’t interested, that’s fine, you were not interested at the start, your hero was sacked! Just had a look at who liked your posts, good old Betty! And before you mention, Dust, you mentioned him. You ain’t getting the wife beater back pal, move on, you sound not interested, Gas Girls or Mangos 👍 There is no excuse for playing an exciting, attacking player who you've been given, who is levels above League 1 standard, give him the Number 10 shirt, and then play him as an Anchorman.
That is a p*ss take.

Fair comments, let’s move on and sorry for digging you out as I did, but if you are fair, you will stay interested and give him a chance.

Two points of interest from this match.
Firstly, very pleased to see Ryan Broom is continuing to have a great career.
Now has 33 goals in over 260 appearances in professional football. Great lad who did not even start a league game for us. We slipped up here.
Secondly, our lightweight midfield was the reason we failed to pressurise The Cods. Three inexperienced, young and creative players in midfield could not cope with the atrocious conditions. On a different day with a firm pitch and a less tolerant referee we might have seen a very different outcome.
Charlie Adam encouraged his players pre-match to be aggressive and tough. They did this all over the pitch. Chris Martin had an opponent hanging on his neck all game. Harry Vaughan was just repeatedly pushed off the ball. Jayden Stockley remains a dark arts expert. Even Ryan Broom was fiercely competitive. It looked like they had 11 Tony Craig's on the pitch at times.
This game showed the value of Sam Finley and Grant Ward in matches played in the "typical Winter weather."

It might appear to be, but half the squad is knackered from Saturday, the other half is broken and some of the others like Javani, Connolly and Sinclair are just deemed not good enough to play. I mean if Sinclair couldnt get in ahead of Vaughan, Beef didnt get in ahead of Baggott then it tells you all you need to about this "best squad ever". That said, it was a bonkers decision from the off to play Vaughan IMO and not play Marquis up there with Sinclair or Brown just for the experience side of things more than anything else. It would also help if Marquis and Wilson looked like that actually gave a fig as well mind. Where are the Ollie Clarke's, Tony Craig (I wasnt his biggest fan come the end I know), Ian Holloway personalalities who acctually stand up and drag the team along and look them all in the eye and tell them they're not doing well enough? JB told us we had 11 captains at the club. Looked like a bunch of pansies last night.

The vast majority of this squad was signed by that conman. I’ll give it to you, your digs at Taylor are very subtle but we can all see you’re pining for Barton deep down. He’s gone. He wasn’t good enough. The vast majority of his players aren’t good enough. Support the new manager.

Taylor for me is not a inspiring choice even though he was the best of what was on offer. Barton went like every other manager who gets sacked and that's down to his results and why another manager is now in place.as others said you are allowed to call out performances that are bad and that as applied to all the managers i have had to endure after over 40 years of support.

Your posts have been against taylor since day one and you were even having digs about his contact book on deadline day. Youve previously said about Barton having good contacts. Doesn’t take a genius 👍🏻
