Holmegas1 who rattled your cage Good question. Just getting a tad fed up with all the negativity. The squad is imbalanced, and with all the injuries we are down to bare bones, so to beat Carlisle is still positive. We have also got to give the guy a chance. When I see “he will be gone by the end of the season”, I despair with these knee jerk reactions. I suppose that’s the world we live in. Maybe I need to chill, just more a half full than half empty supporter at the moment. Always better to be half full. The outcome will be the same whichever side of the glass you are on, only the optimist has a better time getting there.!

Just got back..
Not the first time Carlisle has contributed to beating Carlisle!?
I just wonder, with a little tweaking, not much, how much we could have achieved this season?
Allowing poor teams to dominate and gain confidence, we rarely start well.
But I get that the sprint marathon cliché, it's just we do make things difficult on ourselves..... going 1-0 down - deservedly, fair play to them - giving ourselves a huge task and more risk, well I do wonder what could have been if it was tweaked?
But in keeping, this is a topsy turvy season and nothing would truly surprise.... credit where it's due, we came from behind and most the team after 30 mins contributed to a hard earned win.
My m o m Jervani Brown. If 2 assists, one sublime lead up, that could have been 3 if not post was hit doesn't earn your accolade (apart from scoring), I don't know what would? Also, isn't it great seeing 2 strikers linking? A few more times his intended passes to CM were intercepted last minute but great to see.
But in essence, the team was the m o m. Conteh hardly put foot wrong and even made one amazing timely tackle. Sincs was ever present threat and scored a spectacular. Hunt got forward and created space. Gordon contributed on the left. Ward made a double point blank saviour of saves and punched well. Commanded his area well And if course, CM made himself a handful and all he ever done was scored goals!?
Going into the match, we had so many key players and managers out, so to put into context our difficulties within the parameters of the win, you have to give credit. Well done everyone involved.
On another note....no team in our table changed position after this weekend's round of matches!? Incredible!

This is one for the mods and my point exactly:
Respectfully, you've done your job and duty by banning k last week, and that person is left to wander obscurity in the real world....but I would like to have invited his comments on the performance of the players today whom he criticised last week? They all played blinders this week.
And after that, we could have discussed the collective terms and why it's not a kind way to distinguish one player from another...
With patience and education we could have helped this individual to at least see the error of ways.....but tbf it shouldn't take the player's from to highlight that anomaly.

Accusing rovers fans of not having patience? Where have you been for the last 40 years. Omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Asked about a new stadium at an Open day in the 1960's and was told I needed to be patient.78 now and still being patient!!!! You're more like to be a patient at 78.

Another game to consolidate our mid table security, i expected us to finish twixt 8-12 and on course to do so, that position would indicate a trouble and stress free season BUT it's been anything but for many fans! that stat re no team changing position is incredible! Also seems that Javani Brown is starting to show Rovers fans the reason JB signed him, could be that MT 's man management skills is what he needed.

I could watch that Jevani Brown move for the first goal again and again and again.

Well, we scraped over the line and managed to just about deserve a win against the bottom side. Go us.
Thank goodness for Chris Martin, Anthony Evans, Grant Ward, Connor Taylor and Jed Ward having contracts for next season.
As for yesterday, Martin, Brown, Sinclair, Gordon, Conteh...superb.
UTG and whoopee Matt Taylor etc. 😎🏴☠️

Agree with most of what you say but very unfair on Ward. Excellent for most of today. Hope he is our no1 next season. You are right Percy that is harsh on him… I like him a lot and great if he is our No1 next season but he needs to command his area so much better. I’m not convinced Jakkola ever did that and frustratingly he is now coaching him.

Expectations lowered I see. Well done everyone 👏🏼 Carlisle...how are they getting on this season again? Away from home, a few hundred fans, can't buy a win. We battled for a win. Nice job. 🤠 Let's have a coffee? I thought there fans were great!👏👏👏👏💙😞

I thought there fans were great!👏👏👏👏💙😞 As I was leaving the ground a group of their fans were heading up the one way street to the Welly. They were clearly a bit down and had got to that stage of singing ironic songs. Yesterday Burnley fans were singing "We've had a shot" for example. Anyways, they were singing "Bristols a shithole, I wanna go home". Made I laugh.

I could watch that Jevani Brown move for the first goal again and again and again. It's "all over" X/twitter as they say, I think he must have spent all week watching Messi videos to pull that off.

Just seen Carlisle's goal back for the first time. All of our players in the box defending a set piece at home v the bottom side, and of course the cleared ball comes straight back. Why do we not leave anyone up? This always frustrated me in the John Ward days

This always frustrated me in the John Ward days Comes straight back in...wilson unable to win the head...our rightback...who appeared to be chris Martin unable to block the shot. Our actual right back was outside the box on the otherside of the pitch. Brilliant.
