Not strictly Rovers related but….
A Wrexham fan has just received a three year banning notice for shouting English B******s. Im struggling to comprehend that. If that’s a banning offence I’ve heard worse on the Rovers terraces each week.
On the flip side racism must apply to everyone otherwise it applies to no one.

Feck me if that’s the case then my Welsh wife should be serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole! And before anyone says, yes she is already serving a life sentence being married to me 😂. Up the wrectum!

You probably have to look further at the context of this. He wasn't on the terraces. He was outside the ground. The court heard that Monk approached a group of Tranmere fans being escorted towards the stadium by police and shouted 'dirty Scouse b*****ds'. He followed that up by returning with a group of men and yelling 'dirty English b*****ds'. Sounds like he was trying to start a fight, so maybe the banning order is the right outcome.

This might seem petty but it is the very basics of what racism is about but usually goes unchecked.if the person slighted is considered to come from a so say non oppressed group. For example, if like me, you are white, English and stayed living in the same area that you grew up, you might get called a bastard or worse but you’d never get called an English bastard. However you move to a different part of the country you might get called a Bristol bastard or to a different country an English bastard. Why? Why aren’t you just a plain old bastard like you would be if you’d stayed in your home town?

They shouldn't even be in our league its not called the English and Welsh football league.
I find the fans of Cardiff Swansea and Wrexham on the whole to be utter Special lady gardens who despise the English. f**k off and play in the Welsh leagues if you hate us so much.

If they hate the English so much join their own countries league. They wouldn't be missed that's for sure.

You know as well as I do that Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham and Newport are not going to play in the Welsh league, so it's obviously a silly thing to suggest. As for hate, apart from your hate of their fans "in general" (no generalisation there then), I'm sure the animosity between Man U and Man C, Man U and Liverpool, Millwall and West Ham, us and the other lot, and many many more examples, equals or exceeds any hatred from the Welsh towards English clubs. It's football culture and it's all the worse for it, as are your attitudes.

I'd much rather have Celtic and rangers in than those 4. Plus it would be hilarious to see Ryan Reynolds and co have to leave as disney wouldn't be interested in a Welsh premier league side.

There is nothing to stop Celtic and Rangers from playing in the English leagues. They would rightfully have to start at the bottom of the pyramid and work up, they just don't want to do that. There has been talk of bringing them into the premiership in the past and relegating two extra clubs out of the football leaguel. I am more against that than the Football League Trophy. At least the Welsh clubs have either worked to get back in the league or were voted in when everyone else was and have competed each year for their place.

It wasn’t abuse though. Simply stated facts and expressed her political opinion online, not aimed at anyone. History shows us that policing people’s thoughts doesn’t end well.

That sounds quite abusive?

I could be wrong here but when have rangers and Celtic ever been offered the chance to play in the English league but start from the bottom and work their way up? As far as I was aware they have never been offered a place in the English pyramid? I just don't see why Welsh teams arnt made to play in their own leagues which would in turn have a positive impact for Welsh football In general like it does for Scottish football having Celtic and rangers. Especially since they despise the English so much. They wouldn't have to come over here as much then to watch their teams play.
