The nonsense I refer to was selling JCH and giving Garner a squad of "talented" youngsters, that worked out very well 👍 Curious. having a look at our squad on that relegation season where they'll all playing: JVS: NL Williams: Back up L2 Kilgour: L2 Rodman: Retired Grant: Rovers McCormick: Rovers Leahy: L1 Westbrooke: L2 Nicholson: L2 Hanlon L1 Only 4 of them still at L1 level. Not sure if they're all first team players either. Shows how poor that team was Nicholson score for Motherwell in Scottish Premier yesterday. |

As others have said - if he's not signing a new deal, he has to be sold this summer. We're not going up next season and we're not likely to be playoff contenders, so we need to maximise the fee whilst the value is at its' peak. Any chance of convincing Pompey to let us have Anthony Scully or Gavin Whyte in return please!? And whilst we're on the subject, let's get Big Elk back again now Ipswich are confirmed to be PL-bound. Scully has played just 3 games for us and has been injured gor the rest of the season as he has for the last couple of years. I'll drive him down myself! Gavin Whyte has obvious skills and delivered at big moments but once again, failed to live up to his reputation. He had to travel to see his family in Ireland, that's just bollocks. I felt short changed by him really even if he was Mousinho's mate from Oxford He'll be in the boot for you as well. If Rovers gave us Evans for those too then id be amazed and think I was in a mask and called Dick Turpin! Its a deal |

So Rossiter could get minutes and Conteh replaced him every time. Clearly intentional and planned Yeah…. So he benched Conteh 👍. I rate him but seemed a strange move to bench a new signing that is highly regarded. |

UTG When any manager makes that many signings, some will be good and some will be bad. He also tied up a lot of the budget on players on championship wages that hardly played. BG signed a similar number of players and we didn't sell one for more than we paid to sign them? The L2 side BG put together was probably one of the best we've seen in recent seasons, with AC & Evo both worth decent transfer fees, EA worth £m's and CT a decent young prospect. Just a pity JB didn't carry on in a similar vein last summer rather than signing the likes of the players you've mentioned, who'll all be still here next season, plus McCormick and Connolly were big disappointments. |

I think that we all recognise that Conteh was purchased for the future and he will develop with the right coaching . Rossiter showed Conteh the standards that he needs to aspire to and i for one thought that it was a good move withdrawing him a little so that he doesnt immediately think that he has got it made |
