iFollow have an Owners feed that is available for all games, perhaps that can be used to allow commentary teams to see replays? If I remember correctly, Portsmouth have replays on their big screen, during a home game, which aids their commentary team.I bet the match officials love that!

Hence the top quality coverage, replays with different camera angles etc. Was like watching a game on Sky. No reason why we cannot show replays on our new big screen? At least some half time highlights.Β I remember the world cup games where they actually showed the match on two big screens. Was very distracting, especially when you were in the top tier! Being able to see replays and highlights though was brilliant.

A few seasons ago at Charlton they scored an obviously offside goal. It stood, but when replayed on the big screen was shown to be offside. It was only shown once....

Not sure how some complain about radio commentary, any one listening to Ally McCoist covering Arsenal on TNT ? Even with replays he gets something wrong.

Sheridan Robins has been appointed Head of Comms at the 82'ers, so won't be on Radio Bristol.

With the exception of Sheridan Robins - I think the BBC RB coverage is okay! Well that's Okay compared to other local BBC radio stations!
Be careful what you wish for!

Incredible news! radio coverage might be bearable now without her annoying happy posh voice.

Robbins provided better commentary than some of the others, in my opinion.

I actually thought that Sheridan did an okay job. Certainly her pitch was nowhere near as grating as some of the females who have made it onto national TV.

For a yeovil fan shes ok...
I actually liked her comms, thought she was decent and often better than some of the male lead comms (Exception of Hoskin and Durden who are both excellent).
She also properly ****housed Barton publicly on Twitter on international womens day too which gained her a lot of kudos in my book!

Yeah I thought she was decent. If you actually listened to what she was saying, she actually described actions of the game better than most.
How many times listening to Radio Bris do I think, I genuinely have no idea whats happening in the game. They give TV commentary, but on radio...

Personally, I don't think the actual commentators as such that are the issue, it's the co-commentators they have with them. While KB seems a nice enough guy, his expertise seems to be limited to Rovers history. Much better if you have an ex-player/manager who can provide some actual insight into the game itself, tactics etc.

It should also be pointed out that the commentators are generally in the opposite stand to where the match is filmed from which does not help when you clearly see a shot has gone wide or a player has made a terrible mistake but the commentator doesnt see it or gets it completely wrong. It must be quite a difficult task although I would prefer an ex player instead of Keith Brookman who bores me to tears.

When she's working up to a crescendo, I feel like driving a 6 inch nail through my knee cap.
