Bit harsh to compare Shearers managerial record where he was thrown in for the final 8 games of a poor season (similar to Darrell)

Southgate is the same as most England managers. If they had a prolific goal scorer, Lineker, Shearer, Rooney and now Kane you could get the ball to them and they would do enough to cover the cracks. Kane is past his best and it shows. Poor old Southgate only having the Bundesliga top scorer/European golden boot winner, Prem 2nd top scorer and La Liga 3rd top scorer in the squad.

I don't get all this 'Kane is past it and too slow' stuff that all the TV pundits are agreed on. He was a top, top world class player in Germany two weeks ago and now he's an old lame past it dog? Nah...he's just not playing well like the rest of them.

If we win the next game 3-0 the pundits will be saying we're real contenders, they are up and down more than this forum.

The Swiss are on a roll, xhaka excellent for them. If England think they have a cruise to the semis think again , realy good team . Italy looked like they didn't want to play for the manager btw. So lacklustre.

Michael oliver must have found a brown envelope at half time. Once a ref is called to the monitor he's never going to disagree with the VAR decision, it's more of a case of "come and see what you've just missed" not "come and make your own decision" I can never understand why its ball to hand when VAR is involved but still deliberate handball where it's not involved.

Nah...he's just not playing well like the rest of them. He's always been a fantastic goal scorer, however, he is never going to press high, which is how most teams set up now. So we have to play a different way than most the players are used to. Bellingham tried to press during the last game and Kane sat deeper when they had the ball, but Bellingham was knackered after not that long. For all the goals he's scored, he's never won a trophy, even this season, when they win everything normally. So either he's jinxed, or there is a reason for that. Kane is a top, top player. But teams seem to struggle with him in it. I'm hoping he scores a hat trick tomorrow, after writing this!

When is it ever deliberate handball? The rule keeps changing and that just makes it more messy in my opinion.

Our name is on the trophy lads Another hard watch. Not getting passed Switzerland if nothing changes in our play. So ponderous on the build up, really frustrating

Probably the worst refereeing performance I’ve seen at a tournament before.
Taking nothing away from Slovakia, they were excellent. We were unbelievably fortunate to get through. Can’t see how we’ll get pass the Swiss sadly
