I used to be a season ticket holder in the East stand but unfortunately my shift work meant it was too costly on my holiday to keep that going but I still go to home matches when I can, the point about the stadium is a valid one in every respect, it just does not lend itself to an enjoyable experience especially with younger fans, I grant you that they have tried a few things ie the Fanzone which does help, but essentially you have to speculate to accumulate and as others have said if we are to stay at the Mem the board really need to invest,in the stadium, and rather quickly.

It seems pretty clear from the recent meetings with the local residents that just what they intend doing?

Still not buying three tickets or going to home games, but will be going away as the club fail to recognise that a 14 year old is still a child and shouldn’t be paying the same price as a 21 year old.

So you'll spend extra money and time traveling to away games just to make a point? What if there's no standing available at the away games, will you still go?

The difference between a 14 & a 21 year old in the Thatchers end is £5, which isn’t a gallon of petrol, I can understand people having principles, but sometimes it defy’s logic.

I wonder what his kids make of the decision that instead of a quick trip to the Mem to watch us play Northampton on Saturday, they've got to wait an extra week and then sit in a car for hours to watch us at Rotherham. I think we all now which of those two games we're more likely to win/lose. Looking at the price structures it seems most clubs now have 4 brackets and we've gone for U21 rather than U18, with so many students living in Bristol that could well be a wise choice.

Nope, I haven’t renewed the three on principle, if they sell out so be it, I’ll go non league somewhere for the day.

Yes I will, that’s my choice, and we will stay away for the weekend and do other things in the area we go to over the weekend to make it more of an occasion.

Four hours left.
Season tickets go off sale at midnight.
No West Stand season tickets left.
FOUR East Stand season tickets remain.
20 of the prime South Stand seats still available.
Not got yours yet?
Is that the wisest decision?
Maybe. Maybe not.

Actually I won’t be at Rotherham as I’ll be travelling to St George’s Park for a tournament for the youngest. My boys actually love the idea of away games with their Dad ,but Topper you’d know much more about them than me, and my situation, wouldn’t you?

Looking at the season ticket rules issued today they do not come across as being fan friendly. Contrast that with Sutton United whose rules have always been very fan friendly. For example on the question of transferring season tickets as stated on their website;
“I can’t make the match, can someone else use my ticket?
Your ticket is yours to use - in the event that you cannot attend a particular game, it is accepted that you may wish to make use of your ticket by giving it to a family member or friend for that game “

Wonder how many we sold in the end , think I read we were about 1200 down on last season but that was 6 weeks ago. I’d imagine we’ve sold quite a few since then and maybe not that far behind in the end.

Not alleged, I’ve been going since 1988, more than happy to meet up and discuss the games I’ve been to plus reasons not to attend home games this season.
