He gave Yeovil there best ever years as a football club, got them in the football league and second time around, and people say you should never go back,he took them to the Championship the highest standard they have ever watched. His time there has come to an end unsurprisingly, but Yeovil fans should always be gratefull We have DC now,but this time last year I would have jumped at the chance to get him in

Superb where he succeeded. And where he didn't?

Never happy when anyone is sacked. It just emphasizes the spectacular job he did in getting them promoted to the Championship in 2013.
It does feel a little bit like normal service is being resumed with Yeovil bottom of L1. We just need to do our bit to restore balance in the Universe!

Superb where he succeeded. And where he didn't? Well no manager can be successful 100% of the time, otherwise there would never be the need to sack anyone. But if you look at what he has achieved, especially with some of the budgets he has had to work with, then it proves he is a very good manager.

Never, he might be a good manager but come on, ex-city, Mr arrogant and I will never forgive him for the way he and his son got one of our players sent off (can't remember who)and then Stevie Elliot sent off in game against yeovil a few years back. Fantastic come back though to draw 2-2, Junior I think scoring both, great game. No way to Johnson, DC all the way, good manager who will be a great manager for us, if we give him a chance that is.

I think it is good for him, must be a strain trying to keep a small club like that succesful. Strange timing though a few days after the window shut. I expect the new man will get blamed for relegation as DC has done on here by some posters.

I so hope Yeovil go down now.
A big fan of Gary, very likeable bloke. I would have liked him here but would have been very sceptical about our fan base taking to him being an ex city manager.
I could still see him potentially managing here but right now is definitely not the right time as Clarke is doing a good job. Good luck to the bloke though and hope he proves Yeovil wrong to get rid of him after all he has done for that football club.
