We should sign Stephen Humphrys if he's avaliable instead of yet another loanee. Called for this a little while ago. This is my second choice behind Coburn. Great Striker at L1 level. Wonder if its personality or if its just money that he hasn't been signed? If its just the money then He might be about to compromise so could be worth a shout & offer value for money. Might be a bit far south for him but I would think a club the size & stature of Rovers would be an ideal fit. |

Blackman is too good to be a No2 I think.
Morrison would be a class addition, but comes with baggage, plus another midfielder which I don't think we need atm.

There was some rumours of Harry kite joining us earlier in the summer. I wouldn’t mind having a midfielder that we can rotate in case of injuries and if not then we can send him out on loan

Humphrys might be a good signing for us, but another could be an experienced goal poacher such Connor Wickham, he joined Forest Green back in 2023 for half a season and got 9 goals in 20 games. Didn't play allot last season, but put him on trial and see if he is fit , if so offer him a short term contract like we did with Martin. He could be used as cover up front while our new forwards find there shooting boots.If he does well and gets the goals could then offer him a longer contract, similar to Martin, he is still only 31.

Even if they did change their mind and send him on loan, Sunderland & Wrexham have previously registered interest and you’d imagine would be more attractive to both him & Spurs. |
