Ruari Paton at Queens Park could be worth a look. Bit of a gamble but at 23 years old fits with the profile of players we've seen so far. 17 goals in the Scottish 2nd tier last season and 22 in the 3rd tier the season before. Think Port Vale and Mansfield had been linked at one point this summer. Still interested in who the one that might divide opinion is as well though? 🤔 It's John Akinde. WYHHB? |

Happy with the signings so far so happy to see who the club bring in!

Vale now have a better strikeforce than we do Chris Martin- is one of the highest goalscorers at tier two and great record last season. |

I think we would have to part with about £250k to get him. Would save a bit of money looking at their recruitment guy. Or save even more and just sign all the Gas rejects from under Widdrington… which seems to be Aldershots real recruitment strategy! |

Tipped to get relegated by bookies, finished 8th. Tolaj sold to Port Vale, Stokes sold to Bristol City. Excellent recruitment. |

I can't see us getting the striker we need on a permanent unless we spend a lot of cash. Lincoln have paid £75k for Rob Street from Cheltenham. 1 in 10 record in League 1. We need a 15+ goal scorer at least and they cost a lot more!

We let a 25+ goal a season striker slip through our fingers this time last year and I’m still waiting the name of the pacy, young, goalscoring No.9 we should have been signing instead from those who said JCH was past it. |
