The only thing I can’t think of is this amateur stadium designer account who has done a league 1 renovation video.
But for ours all they’ve done is replicate the south stand and expand the uplands seating across the entire pitch length. No obvs nothing like the planned expansion the club will release in time.

This looks great but honestly, it we get close to this point, just knock down the West Stand and rebuild it. The other three look class in this render and the WS is just an eyesore with the banged up white. |

Other than the pillers in the north stand and the fact you would get soaked in the seats on the terrace on the East it looks ok and is certainly a nice video. Wonder what the capacity of that would be - limited I think as the East is currently low for its size. In reality lots of Student flats need to go somewhere and other sources of revenue added.

When we were asked to choose our seats at Cheltenham for two years whilst the Mem was rebuilt,Lenny Lawrence was asked why the Mem hadn't been demolished come June ready for the New build and said something like ,'the players need somewhere to meet on Match Days.
When UWE was promised we had a group setting up a webcam so we could watch the building progress.
Geoff Dunford told us at an Open Day that the Dribuild stand was being extended the full length of the pitch and around where the south tent was.
Amazingly though at 78 I am excited something may still happen and positive vibes abound but It's the hope that frustrates you.
I lived in Staffs when Stoke's Victoria ground was demolished in 1997 and the Britannia Stadium rose like a phoenix a short distance away so I have seen it happen.Also saw us win twice there!!!!!!

Really hope it looks nothing like that!! That's pretty much exactly how I expected it to look, based on comments from the owner about what will and won't be done, observation of our limited finances and planning difficulties. |
