We tried to sell Jed Ward last season and it’s why he got a 5 year deal. The pressure this club is putting on a 17 year old child is a disgrace, we are the PR machine pumping all this. A proper caring and well run club, the individual at heart, would be nurturing like Exeter did with Ollie Watkins, not hawking him all over the place to a quick transfer fee in. It’s a disgrace what has happened to our club, the FA fit and proper persons test is a disgrace as well. I love the German model of fan ownership, I look at Exeter over achieving over us compared to our budget, fan owned. Kofi Shaw should be at FGR on loan now, getting regular starts like Zamora did but instead we’ve got Friend being instructed to contact people in the game. Welcome back Sir. How long are you going to stay this time? Normally clears off once any positivity has returned.

Welcome back Sir. How long are you going to stay this time? Normally clears off once any positivity has returned. Only came on pal as I was mentioned and glad I got to speak to Grant. The forum isn’t for me these days, my passion for the Rovers isn’t anywhere near where it was and that’s because of the new ownership and their communication to us fans. All the best.

The manager is being put under pressure to play him, the club want him gone asap to bring in a fee, we are the PR machine going to Nixon the journo. I sat next to Barry Fry and a gentleman was between me and Sir Alex at London Road, I thought then, why has this kid been thrown in the deep end here, it was a suicide mission. Shaw was totally out of his depth, we were totally over run, it was the wrong game to groom him, regardless of his talent. Happen to agree with this , def think Shaw could do a job but that should be a home game against lesser opposition. Not somewhere like Peterborough away.

So long as there is a team to watch what does it matter? Couldn't care less the owners aren't giving regular updates on their business tbh. To say you're less of a supporter these days because the owners aren't telling you stuff is bonkers

To say you're less of a supporter these days because the owners aren't telling you stuff is bonkers Very strange comments by you, I can only assume you are easily pleased in life. Research the subject “good will”, the club had loads around it at Twerton and when we went to the non league. Little things like the 50-50 draw being taken away from the SC volunteers was a start, I can’t remember if this was the Kuwaitis. But look at the prize now, and it was a connection from the fans to the club. Do you remember how this was communicated? Communication in every business is essential, it’s all public relations, I assume you are not in business. The marketing and PR drive the business, it entices customers who spend money. It also makes you feel a valued customer, in some cases it can make you want to spend extra money with business, trust, or charity etc. New ground news, updates, building a united front, our communication this week has been a senior employee publicly saying he’s basically been banned from using the club first team facilites. The recent 4 strikers evening hosted by Ian Holloway, he and others publicly said it’s not the club they used to know, I’m not the only one? Were Blackpool fans wrong to stop going under the Oystons, or Cardiff fans mass protesting how their club was being run by a Malaysian millionaire, they got their blue kit back in the end? I assume, I have to assume because you have said communication doesn’t bother you?! Was it right how we took away the child season ticket benefit this season on pricing, and then how we communicated it? Finally, let’s talk the communication we’ve had so far, the owner has said we are going for the Premiership, right now our forum is relegation stuff and an employee is being banished from the club to help cut the budget, the manager has rebelled, the communication we get is laughable, you ain’t going Anfield in the next 10 years!

Pretty sure TG got the blame for the 50/50 draw going cashless and a lot of other similar issues? No idea what his replacement is like but he has worked in a similar role for other L1 clubs, although from recent experience he's likely to jump ship before we get to know him. It'll be interesting to see if the owners have got the money to back their "vision" for the club, as building two new stands and redeveloping The Quarters won't be cheap, or whether it's just all talk.
