I had hopes of a mid-table season, I was fool enough to think it was sound close season recruitment and we had a strategy. I was wrong. I still think this group of players should be capable of lower mid table and so the blame falls on MT and the coaching staff. It looks like relegation await unless this group can be organised and drilled into a team and create chances and can defend corners. I believe in giving every manager a fair chance but cannot see MT turning this around. I guess as Friend recruited the team he should know the strengths and weaknesses so guess he fills in a caretaker and takes training on Monday.

Honestly, can anyone list possible (and realistic?) targets to take over?
Whenever I see the candidates I shudder more than the idea of keeping MT!!

What an amazing shortlist! Honestly, can anyone list possible (and realistic?) targets to take over? Whenever I see the candidates I shudder more than the idea of keeping MT!! UTG Ryan Lowe, had success at this level in the SW with Plymouth, he may now think the Championship is one step too far after he failed at PNE? Although other L1 clubs don't seem to have problems finding a manager, perhaps we should have moved for Crawley's Scott Lindsay before he was poached by MK Dons? |

21st in the league, do not look like Winning a game, a continuation of last season but now with Taylor’s own players. Truly dreadful performance in the 2nd half, basically outplayed all over the pitch. Lee Mansell via radio Bristol talked a lot of sense, a better man than MT. If the board have any idea they should remove Taylor tonight and try and save the season, if not I fear the Gas will go down. As stated for many weeks now, I and I am sure many others, have no faith in the man, he really is clueless, a knee jerk appointment. * Replacement: Other but who, dread to think!!
