We got out of lg2 with the most fortunate set of circumstances last time , I could see us staying down for many seasons.

It’s far to early to be fretting about relegation let’s see where we are the beginning of January if we are still down there that’s the time to worry 🤞

I meant someone like Manse in terms of passion. Going to be a very difficult job for anyone coming in, but right now anyone is a better option because like many Gasheads watching paint dry is more motivating right now |

That's another massive leap from managing a small non league club to a L1 league club with a decent fan base? How would Elliot not be anymore out of his depth than MT? Realistically what sort of candidates are you expecting next then? |

It is pathetic when one considers Rovers have been away from second-tier football for over thirty years and not one manager has come close to getting the club promoted! Managers seem to get giddy on the rare occasion Rovers reach mid-table.

Personally I’d still give him a couple of games, but if I were the owners I’d start putting feelers out and making a plan, unlike we did after Barton Yep , definitely should get another 3-5 games but there would need to be improvement . Not confident. I really hope not, he should be gone already |

...dramatic circumstances yes. But across 46 games (not just one) we got enough points and enough goals to finish third and get promoted. As we did the previous time we were in League Two. |

No idea, I just hope it's better than a non league manager with no prior league managerial experience, you've always said MT's out of his depth as he only managed Exeter in L1 but now you're suggesting we appoint a non league manager. Personally I'd try and get somebody like Ryan Lowe, who's managed in L1 and also knows how a club of our size operates. |

Slim pickings on the free managers that will actually want to come to a mid league 1 club.
I doubt anyone could get rid of the curse of us playing in this league.

If we sack Taylor then we need to bring in a firefighter type in the short term rather than a long term project. If things get really desperate then there’s no harm bringing in a Holloway type. I don’t think we’re quite at that stage yet though. We already have a manager with a fire fighter mentality ffs!! We need a manager who’s brave enough to pass the bloody ball and use the talent we have in the squad not one that wants to continues trying to eke out clean sheets with a slow 1pt progression every other week crawling out way to 52 points and 20th!! Jesus no wonder some of you people are happy with what you see each week |
