Says the poster who specialises in being facetious. Creates an argument with statements he doesn't actually believe and then backs out quietly to leave the rest to argue. My reply was wrong somehow? Or you want to have a pop at me now over something from the past? What's troubling you and how can I help? If you want to stay on topic, argue JBs credentials unlike the previous facetious response. Barton is sexist, homophobic and a wife beater. Choose any one of the 3, but I dont give a f**k about his thoughts, feelings or ideas on anything. What's really sad is that the odious twat is still managing to divide us 12 months on which is why he should never have been allowed anywhere near our club.

At least you've kept on topic unlike the previous poster who somehow wanted to make it about me. In terms of dividing us..that's not on him really. That's on us to regulate our behaviour towards eachother.

The poster made a valid point in an indirect way about how Barton is disliked in the game and you said it was facetious. So you made the response not about the point he was making but about the poster. You did exactly what you say you don't like and I pointed out that you have a history there, which makes your opinions on being facetious somewhat dubious.

You've wriggled around that one 😆 If you think I'm a lady garden, just get on and say so. Dont be sneaky about it ffs. My response to the poster was appropriate imo, and backed up. You've decided to call me out probably for something in the past where I've watered you off? Just DM and get it off your chest rather than be weird 😆

You can add Islamaphobe now, which is a really good example of the lengths he goes to simply to wind people up. I'm sure if you Google, you will see how he trolled Yossi Benayoun and now he has the complete opposite view. He will say anything to get a rise.

Which makes the question "Has he only said this about the club to be a shock jock?" Personally I don’t know the answer to that and I don’t care and i don’t understand why some do. He’s not worth it. As a fan base we need to move on and get behind our current manager and team. We’ve got a hell of a tough season ahead of us and the more the fan base is switched on and supportive the better the chance of us doing well. It’s not the be all and end all but it can make a difference.

Well, it`s clearly not working on this forum. Good to see everybody ( whether pro Barton or anti ) just ignoring him, and getting on with the rest of their lives.

Quote from MT's press conference yesterday..
"I've said before, 12 months time will be an outstanding group of players and will be fantastic for this football club for many years to come. But before that we might have to go through what we're going through at the moment which is a little bit of inconsistency, a little bit of pain every now and then but sometimes a performance hurts and hurts for the right reasons."
Would be good if we could get behind the team a bit more, whether we think he is the right person to get us there in 12 months or not. Saw signs of what we want to be as an attacking team on Tuesday and think we should be going 4-2-3-1 every game now. Lots of options behind Omochere to create and score more. Forde will make a big difference.
Our biggest issue (subs and formations aside) is a lack of confidence in defence. The keeper needs to communicate better and come claim the ball more decisively. We have good defenders, something isnt working and for me it is their relationship with Griffiths.

I agree with all that, I think Griffiths is a very good shot stopper but does have problems knowing when to claim. Thing is he’s young, Ward is the same. In an ideal world we’d have a great shot stopper who commands his area well and is a real captain of the defence. They are hard to find though.

There's a clear investment in Ward but, the decision was made that he wasn't quite ready for L1. I don't think anyone can complain about the handling of that situation, the loan market is never going to allow us to have a complete keeper at this level but signing one permanently would contradict the approach to Ward.

This is spot on … young keeper and excellent smart shot stopper BUT puts us under crazy unnecessary pressure by not coming for crosses and commanding his six yard box. Defenders need to be able to rely on their keeper to be in control at corners / crosses etc and he is not. Surprised our coaching staff have not got a grip on this !

Having a keeper that doesn’t come is better than having one that does, then doesn’t, then does. The defence should be told and frankly decide upon themselves that if the keeper doesn’t have that in his locker then they should attack the ball themselves.

Thats the stuff we need to hear from him and tbf this is the first I've seen this quote as almost everything on social media tends to be very negative. Most of us will get behind that sort of talk and give him a better chance. He should try doing it a lot more. Any PR guys out there to give him a lesson or ten? I can't get why our defence has gone to pot either, they looked halfway if they had a plan earlier in the season. Even Shrewsbury walked through us on Tuesday. A lot of balls are coming right through our midfield so maybe thats where the fault is. Griffiths is the best we can expect from a young and learning lad. Needs to command his box a lot more. One collision on Tuesday with Moore (I think?) nearly ended up in them scoring. Tight ass new owners won't extend the budget for another keeper though. Most of our problems lie with them, not Taylor.

You’d still get some fans on here saying he was clueless and playing the wrong formation 😂

Although at least JG has never gone walkabouts like JB often did during a game.
