I remember this game well - Braintree were probably the best team we played that season. They were superb. Tbh, I remember one of the wingers absolutely tearing us apart - can't quite remember if it was Akinola & Mensah though I remember writing about both mensah (Barnet & Braintree games) & Akinola. looked back in my writings & I thought both were very dangerous that night - they had something we've rarely had; pace. |
