Ok, In light of some issues raised in the FFSC thread about the Welly group I have decided to bump this thread.
I think I am right in reading that one of the front men is a current employee of BRFC and one and ex employee.
Is this the case and if so does it change anything?
Please correct me if I am wrong.

As far as I know,Mark used to work for Rovers,Jon we all know,and the other guy(sorry forget his name)does NOT work for the Rovers. Think someone has made a mistake there.

One of the guys came on all the forums and said he used to do the programs etc, not sure about the other guy, but surely those guys have more of a chance of getting the point accross to the club

Its very complicated (dont mean to sound patronising) a pressure group set up by people with undisclosed ties to the club could leave it open to claims of being inappropriate, having a conflict of interest or hidden agenda. For instance are individuals at the club actively courting this process ?. Are well intentioned individuals being manipulated ??
I dont want to comment further without giving the right to reply.
Im sure they are not but it is interesting and confusing all the same. It would be good to have some clarity.

Just caught up with this thread!
I am not employed by the club and never have been.
My connection is primarily through the Community Dept. because of my
previous work with schools within the Bristol LA.
I do not have a hidden agenda nor an axe to grind.
(Other than a love of the club and a sadness at the depths to which we have sunk!)
Hope that's clear!
Jon too is not employed by the club and never has been.
Mark is not employed by the club but once was.

This should have been disclosed along with Marks previous association especially as you were asking us to sign petitions and the like which involves handing over sensitive personal information. Just saying, perhaps something to take on board and make clear at future meetings. |

I find it neccessary to defend my good friend Bernard here:
All this was made quite clear at BOTH meetings when all three of us stood up and said who we were and our affiliation with the club.
If anyone is looking for a conspiracy they are well off the mark. There are no hidden agendas here, i trust Bernard and Mark implicitly and i value and respect what they are trying to do in a dignified way with only the good of BRFC at heart. We are three supporters of Bristol Rovers Football Club who stood up to represent other concerned Rovers fan's, as a result we have also put ourselves in the firing line.

Its very odd Mark, a club fundraiser, a co trustee of Watola and Masters and an ex club employee co-ordinating a protest against the club. Im sorry if that sounds ott.
God knows whats going on at this club anymore
