1st user banned today without warning. Any sustained personal attacks will be dealt with in the same way. No more warnings. When users disagree keep it civil please. I will also ask everyone to refrain from going too far when joking around so as not to completely ruin threads. (I'm guilty of this too so feel free to prompt me). A few jokes is fine, but not at the cost of a thread. I think the New Beginning thread may be beyond redemption though.  I'll be reminding users as at when. Hopefully we can get things back on track. |

it's all pretty sad this.... the OF was shut because it 'apparently' it became impossible to moderate.... slowly over a couple of years the same is happening here, it's all a bit reminiscent of George Orwells animal farm.... just aswell you quoted specifically George Orewells version. |

I meant tbone gets right on my tits with his constant Taylor bashing but I like that he's on here. The forum would be a boring a place if we all got along and had the same opinions. |

I must admit that I don't come on here very often any more as I found so many of the threads just became infantile . I think that it was indicative of the immaturity of some of the people who contribute and there is not much that you can do about it when you have an open forum. Its sad that they hijack even some of the more interesting threads with attempts at humour that may be funny to them but not to the majority. You don't mind the odd thread like that but to find that it happens on almost every subject that is raised just undermines and devalues the whole forum.
Its the way of the world that the people with the most interesting things to say are the ones who tend to keep quiet and the ones with absolute nothing to say spout on endlessly.
