I must admit that I don't come on here very often any more as I found so many of the threads just became infantile . I think that it was indicative of the immaturity of some of the people who contribute and there is not much that you can do about it when you have an open forum. Its sad that they hijack even some of the more interesting threads with attempts at humour that may be funny to them but not to the majority. You don't mind the odd thread like that but to find that it happens on almost every subject that is raised just undermines and devalues the whole forum. Its the way of the world that the people with the most interesting things to say are the ones who tend to keep quiet and the ones with absolute nothing to say spout on endlessly. 100% agree with this. I have used this forum much less recently for that very reason. Even this morning three or four threads have been polluted by GGMI and JoeyB having a pathetic, infantile squabble. If you have put an end to this Hugo then thank you very much, about time too. |

i think some people take this forum way to seriously. I generally don't think I would even block anyone. I meant tbone gets right on my tits with his constant Taylor bashing but I like that he's on here. The forum would be a boring a place if we all got along and had the same opinions. Bravo. Totally agree. Joey could have stayed for all I care to be honest but having said that if I had said what he said to people on here then all hell would have broke loose. GGMI. While JoeyB took the bullet this time, you have only survived by the skin of your teeth recently. Personally I would have banned you a few days ago. Your refusal to apologise when you had stepped over the line but then a half-hearted apology to the mods when you came under pressure followed by a a begrudging apology when your life was hanging by a thread was a disgrace. I'm not really sure how you survived. Please take some advice from a wise old man : 1. Pleae stop trying to be clever as it just makes you look stupid, 2. Please don't "take on" individuals as you have recently as you annoy everyone not just the individual 3. Sometimes saying nothing says more than anything you could type. Try it. I could go on but just can't be bothered. This forum will wither and die if the recent behaviour continues - accept your responsibility for that. |

Yes, you could argue that GGMI should have gone a week or so ago, I agree, but I don't think anyone could have any complaint over Joey going for last night's tirade.
