Not a big boxing fan but obviously been following the latest events with Fury's shock win against Klitschko. Just not sure what to make of the bloke? His press conferences etc make me laugh and he has a personality but also seems a bit of a cock and now reading that he is homophobic? Which is disgusting if true.

Homophobic? Just what the feck is that? Isn't a phobia a fear of something?
Let's see what Wiki says, "A phobia is usually defined as a persistent fear of an object or situation in which the sufferer commits to great lengths in avoiding, typically disproportional to the actual danger posed, often being recognized as irrational. In the event the phobia cannot be avoided entirely, the sufferer will endure the situation or object with marked distress and significant interference in social or occupational activities."
I do go to great lengths to avoid homosexual activities. For example, I avoid gay themed films, like Bareback Mountain, as the subject does not interest me in the slightest. I avoid going to known gay clubs and bars. I have never taken part, or attended, a Gay Pride March. I have no interest whatsoever in watching two blokes snog or play hide the sausage, whether it's in a film, in a bar, or on the street.
I do not fear homosexuality, but I don't like it. People can do what they want in the privacy of their own homes. Each to their own. I just don't fancy dudes. Does this make me 'homophobic'?

Nothing to be disgusted about if that's what they believe in.
I'm not homophobic, but I also don't have a problem with people who are(it's up to them what they think)

(wikipedia) Xenophobia isn't fear of foreigners is it?!! Lots of words have originated from other words without retaining their full literal meaning. Or are you being deliberately obtuse? |

Here is the BBC link to the cretin who thinks that Greater Manchester Police have nothing better to do than investigate the heavyweight champion of the world for offending him with a few words.I wouldn`t be surprised if it was Mr Sawyer who complained to the BBC and got the word "faggot" bleeped out on the Pogues wonderful christmas song Fairytale of New York because he was deeply offended.I doubt Mr Sawyer gets offended with thousands of gay blokes prancing through capital cities every year wearing leather hot pants acting as promiscuous as possible in order to shock normal folk into accepting their behaviour as normal.

I agree with nobbygas, the word phobia has been added to these types of description for one reason only, in this brainwashed day and age, it's to belittle people who don't agree by suggesting they are afraid of whatever the phobia is added too,and at the same time make those who are of that persuasion feel they are more important than others. when as nobby says he ain't scared rather just disagrees. It has all the hallmarks of the dogooder brigade as in if you believe any different to us then you are wrong and we will make everyone think you are wrong by using words like homophobia against you. Gay rights were hard fought for. Not so long ago it was illegal. People were blackmailed, demoted, sacked, beaten up and imprisoned for having the "wrong" feelings. Now gays have the same rights as anyone else, I can understand why they like to celebrate. As for it not being 'natural', we're not amoebas whose sole purpose is to feed and reproduce. We are intelligent thinking creatures who have the ability to make choices in their lives. If those choices don't harm other people then I support the right to choose and I support gay rights. |

Absolutely right aghast but the thought of another man sticking his penis into my bottom feels me with dread and anxiety, the thought of others doing it to eachother makes me want to throw up.Apparantly in todays world if you don`t want a man to bugger you it means that you are a closet homo who is not comfortable loving your wife/girlfriend and having sex in a natural way................................The modern PC world is so f*cked up.
