Looks like we are on target for 5k sales at least then. I'm sure there's a few still waiting to see which players sign the contracts on offer ( ie our top scorer MT) and the players DC can attract in the coming weeks. Given we're already around 1,500 extra sales up on recent seasons I wonder if that's really the case? As whilst we may attract more fans if we do sign somebody like Lambert I can't see many regualr fans are still sat waiting for transfer news before getting a s/t. .

And it could be even higher as these figures are based on the end of May. My understanding is that the D.D's from stand seats came out of bank accounts on June 1ST. However: with a bank holiday lots of payments didn't come out until 2nd or 3rd. I know Bath Rugby and Gloucestershire Cricket wait 14 days for a final count up before releasing actual sales and the amount for general sale ( Bath Rugby). So who knows ?. Another few hundred could of been added and it might take a full 14 days to determine what stand seats are left. And how do Direct debits work with stand seats ?. I know with my many D.D's the responsibility is on me to cancel. The club could still be working out who did what and when ! . And are the 2000 (approx) stand tickets gone or are there a few or loads ready to go on general sale As far as I'm aware DD's for s/t's don;t automatically renew so somebody needs to inform the club they wish to renew their s/t's, looking at those figures from previous seasons then 5,000 seems a realistic figure for total sales so far this summer?

Okay Topper thanks for that. I know my Gloucestershire Membership is automatically renewed and I pay in cash for my Rovers S.T. However: I am struggling to understand the seating's issues at Bristol Rovers. So here we go again ...
The MEM roughly holds 11200
Thus far around 3800 terrace ST's have been sold The away section holds around 1400 ( terrace and seats) There is around 4000 terrace tickets left.
( Above TOTAL 9200 )
This means we have just over 2000 stand tickets as the old number on wiki of 3000 hasn't been updated with the west stand and part of the south stand reduced and removed. So are we saying we have only sold 800 out of 2000 ??. Perhaps it needs someone much wiser and intelligent than me to explain.. The above figures are pretty accurate and reflective but I am at a loss with the low stand seat take up..

Or could VITAL be right and the 6000 estimate is based on a near sell out for stand seats around June 1st ?.

Actually there is a slight issue and that is STAND tickets are Not on sale . And some people like elderly disabled families and children may want to know if and when they are. It's nothing anti but there is slight confusion that you can purchase tickets in every other part of the ground except STANDS. So some people I know are simply asking if they are 'gone' or 'not'. We all want to support the club and the brilliant job this new owner(s) are doing .

This. When we were really down and out and the club was on its knees and really needed support where were they? It genuinely wateres me off. I apologise for the fact that the quality of the football influences how many times a season I am willing to make the 450 mile round trip to watch home games. If my decision to buy my first ever season ticket makes me a glory hunter and wateres you off, well, sorry about that too. In truth, we all have stuff that gets in the way of going to matches: money, distance, work, family...very few of us get to every game and when we are weighing up whether to go or not, the quality of the football will play a part. The alternative is that our attendances stay the same forever. [br No need to apologise you just don't agree with my comment fair enough.

Plus if 8,000 turn up each game is there little incentive on the club's owners to improve the league position/sell up so perhaps the stay away fans actually did the regular fans a favour?? i thought you had disappeared, I'm still waiting for a reply from your petty little dig last night! Stop giving it the big un' you got chopsy yesterday and then decided to ignore my replies, I'm coming to the conclusion that you are a bit of a twat !

Is that your own view or the actual facts, as two days ago the SC were sticking to theirs figures? bristolroverssc.co.uk/2016/06/05/st-availability/The facts according to the Supporters Club website were that we'd sold 3871 terrace STs by the end of May. According to the Evening Post website we'd sold 4620 STs in total by the same date. If both figures are correct then we would only have sold 749 tickets between the East, West and South Stands. Of course an update of sales with a breakdown by area, posted the OS would put all this idol speculation to bed! No news of any sort has been posted on there for 6 days.

Shame they weren't there for the other 22 home games LP And when BRFC are in a champions league quarter final against Bayern Munich playing to a packed extended 65,000 UWE stadium ,there will be cries of where were you when we played Braintree ?.......ignoring the fact they couldn't possibly watch that Munich game without those 65000 fans turning up as the club would never be able to get to that position without them. The number of fans a club gets when it is in the bad times is proportionate to the number of fans it gets in the glory days. The more fans you can gather when times are good the bigger your support will be when it goes bad.....look at Portsmouth and Sheffield united for example.

I get that people can't make every game and money , work, family etc all come into play as they do with me , my gripe is that when it's packed in the mem all the dick heads seem to come out the wood work ,for example, I just simply cannot stand being stood next to someone effing and blinding at certain players when they misplace a pass, miss an opportunity at goal or moan when we are under a bit of pressure, I had the exact scenario take place when we played Plymouth at home, we were under a bit of pressure and this bloke was going off the richter and I turned round and said , Plymouth are a decent side we aren't going to have it all our own way, he turned to me and said bold as brass " this is why I've not been since 2003 " . I'm all for having bigger crowds of course I am but surely if you're going to support your team you endure the bad times as well as enjoying the good.

No......I fully understand and sympathise with you...but......most people want to enjoy themselves and/or like to attach themselves to success (boosts self esteem ? ) . You only need see the number of non scousers or non Mancunians walking around Bristol in red shirts(not city ones) to realise they support the clubs for that success attachment and not some love for the liver building, ship canals or endless roads of red brick terraces.

Can people please stop talking about 6k season ticket sales now as this is clearly not going to happen. Looks like we will break 5k and maybe a couple of hundred more before the end of June, still not bad and more than most of the clubs in league one, and with probably the worst facilities in the division.
