I will never understand how reasonably intelligent people can just accept a system where a tiny minority of people own virtually half the wealth in the world? The walton family that own wal-mart have a combined wealth equal to the lowest 40% of the american population! And similar statistics apply in this country but people just go along with it? Wal-marts employees in the us are paid so badly they need food stamps and medical insurance aid paid for by the state while the family creams in the billions and its the same story here in the uk. We have the power to change it but so far we havnt we just passively accept the rich getting ever richer. Good luck with that. I well remember the latter years of the 1970s, the last time the lunatic left had their mitts on the levers of power in this country. The rich carried on getting richer, they just f**ked off abroad to do it. So they didn`t pay ANY taxes here. I myself spent four years working in Germany; the alternative was to stay here and be told by the likes of Derek Robinson, when I could or couldn`t work. And Corbyn`s even loonier than they were. Vote for him, BB, and you`re putting a big fat spoke in your grandchildrens`chances of having as good a life as you did. Well in the post your replying to i made no mention of any political leader or party? What your advocating is we cant do anything nasty to the wealthy in case we offend them and they runaway which is morally bankrupt in my view. with regards to the 70"s and labour is a bit like me picking on the relegation to conference season as the only way of discussing our clubs history and ignoring all else which would be a bit daft.

So if you spend time in a country your opinion is correct and people who havnt lived there is wrong? Wow i never got that before No, I did not say that. It annoys me when people cut and paste articles from suspect sources to try and make a point. Bit like quoting keith chimp. We can all find content on line but the reality is often very different. What suspect sources...The BBC, The Telegraph, The Israeli newspaper Haaretz? What I cut and pasted is reality, but maybe you just can't handle it.

I am calm and can hanfle anything you cut and paste - I'm more of a free thinker suggest you try that instead of spouting other peoples thoughts

It`s not remotely the same thing. If, after relegation, Bristol Rovers had kept the same manager, and carried on for five years using the same tactics that took us down, that would be a more valid comparison to the Wilson/Callaghan administration. I find it hard to believe that anyone who lived through those years, would want to return to them. "Everybody out."

That's the thing. Those of us who lived through those dire socialist times can remember what it was like. We witnessed what happens when the Unions hold power over politicians. The problem is that the younger generation just do not believe you when you tell them how dire it was.

Are you happy with that? Why cant the walton family pay there staff more than a poverty wage and just be worth £25 billion each instead of 60 billion? Its vile and disgusting and applies in this country to,they dont need that much money.

Despite the fact that I`ve only ever done menial warehouse/driving jobs, I`ve managed to fashion a decent life for me and mine. If someone else has made billions from my efforts at the bottom of the work chain, well... I guess that`s life. Good luck in changing it all. Socialism might make the rich poorer, but can it have the opposite effect? Not noticably.

Young people can change it because they can see that they wont have their own house, proper jobs and more that we have had and they will change it.

Who murders more people the state of israel or hamas? its a very complex issue really. With regards to the current labour party it represents a point of view it was founded to represent and which i support. Its time for society to challenge a system where the rich get richer by the day while everyone else struggles. If i was young again now i would be struggling to get a decent job, have very little chance of getting a house and would face a future without a NHS and where a good education can only be attained at a private school for my future children under the tories. At last young people are waking up Young people are waking up to a big "f**k you" from the Labour party this week. Turns out not only was their promise on tuition fees a lie (as they've proved in Wales) but eradicating historic student debt was too! There was no promise in the labour party manifesto to eradicate student debt,,,,virtually every promise made in the conservative part manifesto has been abandoned but you have failed to mention that?

Nobby is completely bias and pro Tory. It's not like he hides it. We are all bias towards those we support and pick and choose which lie to peddle on their behalf. I've said it before and I'll say it again, all of them are selfish lying bastards and if they don't watch out we will end up with a Trump in charge here too. The political classes need to stop lying and get on with making and sticking to promises.

Totally agree with you Hugo.......which is why, like him or hate him, Nigel Farage is the most honest political types out there.
PS - I wouldn't say I am a Tory......I just hate Communism.
