Ollie Clark got mugged a couple times dwelling on the ball and was half asleep for a back pass deep in the second half but overal had a reasonable game
What is fairly damning is we get into a position just outside the 18 yard box and instead of playing a killer ball in or shock horror - having a shot - we pass it sideways and dissolve all momentum
I truly believe there is a massive crisis of confidence with the forward players overall
It's easy to play confidently on the training pitch but when no one knows if they will be playing or not and who with it will be natural to play slightly more guarded football
1/4 of the season gone and out top scorer is Tom Lockyer?

Perseverance with Nicholls is path to ruin. Sometimes they don't work out. Irrespective of whether he could go on to score 10-15 goals from tomorrow it would still a very shoddy return and nigh on sixty matches played already really should tell DC all he needs to know
But a settled side is a must imo and quickly or it will be a very lonely Xmas looking up at the 20-odd teams above us .......

I listened on the radio and it sounded like we should have done the job first half and we escaped with a point come the end
It's a rough ride at the moment, each game is a banana skin and these strikers are woeful -.weve sold 60 goals and have had very little back
Good to see Sercs and Sincs back tho maybe they will galvanise things

Well that was #iss poor. After Tuesday I was really optimistic, but now it seems back to square one. 4 defeats in first 5 games so barring an amazing turnaround, we can forget about top 6. We need to get a commanding CH in asap. This was the worse display since the L2 relegation season for me & DC needs to nip it in the bud. There seemed a lack of fight today which Is inexcusable. I think DC will keep us up but I must question what he sees in Craig, he certainly ain't a leader, not that I could see & I would tell him he he can go on loan or pay his contract up. I would Blood Kelly in at LB & bring in Russe in midfield. I still think we need a big CF & goalie too. But hey it's only August can't wait for the winter months. Oh & I am probably the best supporter too UTG Blood Kelly and Russe? dont you realise the finest minds in football all nod sagely to the adage "you'll win nothing wi' kids" |

Don't like this sort of thread but I think DC is very p!ssed off at the moment
A bit of success will go a long way to tempering that but can't see us being top ten or better currently
We had a golden chance to hit top six until the snake left and with latest 3 window departures and little reinvestment on or off the pitch I'm struggling to see us achieving that again
Last year the league was harder than the season of the snake and this year it will be harder still
I believe the owners are happy to tread water - but you can only do that so long before you start swallowing the stuff
cant think beyond DC at the moment, but one thing for sure is - one day it will happen
