Best of luck young man
The plaudits here are testament to the journey you are on and that we've all watched unfold
You deserve your break and always welcome at the mem - this is the sort of thread the snake could have enjoyed had he chosen his path more carefully
Go bag 4 at the gate please son

I'm happy to admit I'm a turncoat
Forever optimistic , I did believe Wael had the poke and the backing to spend it
As time has elapsed it's now painfully obvious that the owners are seeing the club as just another investment vehicle, probably the runt of a very large and lucrative litter and big brother ( civil engineer and investment banker - hence cautious in SH words ) now the UWE is dead is loath to spend another penny indulging his little brother
No plans at all on the table for the mem. No planning sessions, no engagement and basically bluster and waffle from SH when G20man tried to pin him down on it. Three months and no progress. Apparently the owners need to understand where they are.
Well they are in BS7 and we will be here long after you've shucked your investment to the next bidder, thanks for getting us out of the debt hole, but I believe we need owners with footballing ambitions as opposed to getting their 6% on every pound invested. What we do for fun on Saturdays isn't supposed to be subject minutiae of dull budgetary meetings. Necessary yes. But to compare Abramovich and Lansdown to these is chalk and cheese. They WANTED to punt, they DID punt and in the former it's paid off and the latter, well look at the championship table
I don't care if they are wounded by our suspicion, they've promised eveolution, we all know how long that takes - I'm wounded by watered down promises and no action
I've met Wael home and way and he's a top person but he's dancing to his brothers tune and he and we will get what Hani decides and thats it, that much is plain. All weve gained is one more gashead and a big and growing loan to service
I think they are stalling, twisting and turning and trying to find a way out. so I'm leaving my optimism about the owners firmly at the turnstile , getting behind what appears to now be the shockingly treated DC and his squad , for better or worse and praying for an upturn in our fortunes on the pitch.
I think that will come long before they do off it.
In DC we trust. UTG

Nope not me
July 19 to roll some pitches ?
Hani holds the strings, when he wants to indulge his little brothers new toy we get money
Very disappointed with that interview

No point worrying about a nothing Cup
We were poor tonight, Byron Moore awful as usual , no idea why he gets a start
Telford was started, no more effective than Nicholls, so that answers that question
Not interested in partaking in a meltdown over this game, majority boycot it anyway so why carp on about it
Get behind DC, look down the road at the value in giving managers time and space and patience to manage......
Not sure the defence has confidence in either keeper which may answer a nagging question over why they aren't as composed as they were in front of Lumley......

I nosebag in’s loves it really Gone. But let's get back to the topic. The club has been saddled with debt and there are a lot of long faces at the club nowadays. And they get punched by beer swilling doxies at the Welly

Blackthorn 1st, big stand over clubhouse but move it back 4 - 6 metres so pitch can be moved north to make more room at tent end which would be next. Then East stand (huge with boxes and changing rooms etc under it). Then West stand last. Blackthorn most problematic as where do those fans go during works I assume you mean drinking? could put a big Marquee up in part of the car park. Yeovil did it before and the sort of thing Glos Cricket have had when big matches on We will have more tents than Go Outdoors i hear knives sharpening in bs3

Nichols has had plenty of starts, I'd give Telford a shot at a full 90 , personally I think he looks more robust and incisive than Nichols As a side note - Gaffney for Moore? REALLY. ?? Ffs ........ Agree re: Telford Gaffers had been booked and was high on the refs radar - safe decision Hadn't realised Gaffers was booked

Because DC didn't get the wingers he wanted in the summer. He said that already that he missed out on them and we don't know why , maybe their attitude didn't fit or maybe money who knows ? I think that if we sign a couple of pacey wingers in Jan and keep Bodin we'll make the play offs. Defence is decent we're sorted up front midfield is sorted but we lack pace out wide. Also pace out wide will help defensively. But when he plays we may as well be down to 10 men. There has to be a better option. I'm not sure Moore should even be an option , my heart sinks every time I see him warm up its no coincidence we looked poorer soon as he was subbed on for Gaffney , who again worked hard, held up well and is a far superior player to Byron Moore . He's lucky he's had the two year deal, I really can't see how that could possibly be extended after this season . I bloody hope not anyway , waste of a shirt

Looking forward to supporting DC and the lads tomorrow. a song as we stay afloat I've accepted it's going to be one of this season's and could be until the owners make their intentions clear. as long as they give 100% I'll be happy. Never heard him say that to be fair

Jesus, no wonder we don't divert from Goodnight Irene much if this is the best we can do! Just say we had never sung GI and I posted the lyrics on the Forum suggesting it might be a good song for the Fans to sing. It would be derided as a joke by the majority of Posters. Really this thread just highlights that we sing GI much too often and cannot be bothered to sing a couple of verses. Players who have been at the Club for a good few years such as Ellis, Tom Lockyer and Lee Brown might just be sick of hearing it so often, maybe wishing that we could come up with some good songs that other Club Fans don't sing. We mostly copy what others have sung. We would like our Team to come up with some good consistent Football as against Wolves, so don't you think the Team might be delighted to have us sing some new songs to fire them up? Goodnight Irene is part of our heritage but it has been diluted and in my view is in danger of losing it's impact. I would urge that Posters who think they might have a good song is to post it without fear of a bad (Blackbeard comes to mind) reaction because one day someone will come up with a gem.
Don't let me stop you sunshine you proudly belt your tune out , just don't let your ice cream hit your forehead in the middle off it

I'm hardly surprised Wolves were praising us, we drowned the howlers out most of the game
And I did like that they clapped with us as they too hate Bristol C**y
