I know people in chippers who don't support rovers but are interested in coming to a few games, should i tell them it's a private members club and admission by invitation only? Absolute nonsense. In which case if they don't support rovers I suppose they could arbitrarily head east 20 miles and watch Swindle instead

Fans or glory seekers? cant recall fans being turned away when we were in the conference I for one wish they would just redevelop the mem, make that double the capacity and keep us on Gloucester Road!! Apart from Woking away, the Alfreton home game and Forest Green. Sod the faithful 5000, there were just over 2000 of us at some of the early games at Twerton - we should be the only ones allowed in We aren't talking about away matches we are talking about home matches but well done for keeping up

Agreed let's keep it how it is i like being an underdog, I like being there through thick and thin, I like the fact we don't have double scarfers and goal music and a drum and a big empty all seater bullsh!t empire. I like standing and I like Gloucester Road i just don't equate success with a shiny stadium and I don't like woodworm latching on cos we've tipped into the playoffs rovers means more to me than spending £40m on a new bowl without a pub in reasonable walking distance Call me old fashioned please, I like that as well The flaw in your idea is that without a new stadium and the "woodworm" fans becoming new season ticket holders, the other clubs in L1 and L2 will modernise and progress. And we'll end up back in the Conference. But the Sh!t can modernise their stadium, keep their home with all their parking problems and muster an assault on the championship playoffs? Can't see them sliding towards conference mediocrity because the dog walkers w@nked into their breakfast youre all deluded drum bangers , all you want is bragging rights about having a shiny stadium , I'm not interested, if we get promoted this season Wael and Hamer will have to deal with it , you can't Magic a stadium up in twelve month and keep everyone happy . I firmly believe the owners are miles behind the team in terms of progress and DC is putting immense pressure on the owners with the current success on the field Why get hung up on the stadium every bloody minute? Enjoy the success we currently have and let the chips fall. If it happens so be it but personally I couldn't give two Sh!ts about the new stadium and being surrounded by plastic fans that will disappear as soon as DC's bubble bursts, or him and Taylor follow the big dollar and we slide down of our own volition be great in that stadium then won't it? Just like MK Dons two weeks ago I'd wager. That drum was brilliant really kept the 5500 home fans and the 24000 empty seats rocking

I think Clarke said substain not sure what that word means
As for Fleetwoods manager not recognising the "bombardment" he should have a look at the stats for rovers shots on goal!
i thought Fleetwood were a good side that gave us decent opposition but hey they weren't good enough on the night
testament to rovers tenacity and fitness

Fans or glory seekers? cant recall fans being turned away when we were in the conference I for one wish they would just redevelop the mem, make that double the capacity and keep us on Gloucester Road!! Why bother doubling the capacity if if will only be filled with all these glory seekers of which you speak? We definitely don't want to be attracting new fans due to success do we so I feel your idea could send out the wrong message that these people are welcome. Agreed let's keep it how it is i like being an underdog, I like being there through thick and thin, I like the fact we don't have double scarfers and goal music and a drum and a big empty all seater bullsh!t empire. The clock is ticking now, the club can't progress any further without the uwe, we are about to hit a brick wall. After xmas we will be turning fans away. Fans or glory seekers? cant recall fans being turned away when we were in the conference I for one wish they would just redevelop the mem, make that double the capacity and keep us on Gloucester Road!!

I've long felt we are a better team with Danny on the pitch
Yes he wobbled a big here n there but agree he's a top lad and becoming a must start man

Gaffney should start, I feel he poses more of a threat
Ellis can jump but his first touch and finishing especially on headers is poor Imo, I'm not jazzed on his workrate to be honest
But we should support all our lads on the pitch, they are all chipping in and apparently not moaning about rotation

The outside bar was a great idea, but I always find the other bar rattles thro the queue pretty quick to be fair

Roos flapped at that cross like a twelve year old girl
And spilled at it Mk when he'd done the hard work already
Two mistakes, and yes I was at both matches
But we are shipping too many goals for it all to be Roos fault
I agree 100% that the defence needs settling and I'd like to see Hartley in charge and playing every game, let's not forget he also SCORES goals!
Looking forward to Fleetwood who are climbing the table .......wounded rovers should provide a great match

this is the stupidest thing I've ever heard Whats Stupid, the club are trying to increase their merchandise range? This exactly what you would want in your club shop approaching xmas - well done from me. If UWE is built and we have shop similar to the size of MK Dons, then the way some people go on there would be nothing on the shelves, nothing but hats, t shirts and key rings. You're entitled to your opinion but I was commenting on the idea of everyone wearing xmas jumpers to a match the shop is welcome to merchandise xmas jumpers but I won't be buying one

Shtheads love to talk about us, they full of bollox, wouldnt expect anything less, course the league easier this year. They are being carried by 20 year old loanee. Tammy Abraham must be a regular at the chiropractors. Love too see how they get on without him, as much as I wouldnt wish injury on anyone. I worked out the other day why he's called Tammy he holds up a load of clots.... I'll get me coat.......

As a boy my first trip to the Mem was to watch Bristol Rugby, Alan Morley days, early 80s
I always followed Bristol and the gas , I even tried to watch Bristol at Ashton Gate once, but I just can't do it, I felt sick in the Dolman
Lansdown has ruined Bristol Rugby for me now, I don't want them to lose but I can't support them anymore, just watch for results

The op question / gripe before , during or after the game is entirely valid!
I was at the game and thought the same thing pre ko
And seven mins in we are one down - so how can he be castigated for a justified and even prophetic gripe?
Listening on the radio vs being there and seeing the first half shambles with your own eyes.....you'd think the op was fine as well!

Good report, I'd agree with all comments contained
Love the stadium and with the 10000 we got plus another 5000 uptake I think the atmosphere would be fine for something similar at UWE, assuming we maintain the upward curve and the entertaining football we've enjoyed
Bear in mind our capacity would be at best 10% less than Mk which is 30500
Frustrated at the defence tinkering, Frustrated at Bodin
But gonna stay behind the squad and management 👍

Worst rovers performance I can recall in a long time
I'm trying to get my head around the squad rotation thing and support it but clearly the constant 2-3 changes every game to the back line must have an effect
Positives from the night
1. Matty Taylor and clinical finishing 2. Ummmmm
And WAQ joining us in the noisy section for the second half (he was stood with some family members right behind me) clearly enjoying being an ordinary Gashead and also joining in with a couple of chorus's of " you're not singing anymore" at 3-3
The best I can sum this up is that karma must have played a hand in last nights point. We didn't get one at Sheffield and definitely deserved it
Maybe we didn't actually deserve even the point last night - but we got it
Onward, I hope we fare better at Oldham this weekend who have just beat Scunthorpe!
