The gap in the seating is there to link the east stand seats into the south stand , when the east stand is constructed, that info came from TG. I’m not doubting the information you were given, but there are a couple of reasons why it’s a silly idea. Firstly, heaven only knows when the East Stand will be built, so the meantime fill that area up with seats. They could easily be removed when required. Also, the South Stand is a temporary structure, so why would they join up a permanent East Stand with a temporary South Stand? Having said that, I am no architect or builder. Whilst I am sure it is stated somewhere that the south stand is a temporary structure, surely no one actually believes this? I am resigned to the fact it will be around a lot longer than I will be!

Who is doing something I wouldn’t want to for a great cause. One of the programme sellers is going to be wearing a c*ty shirt to the home game on 16th. Justgiving linkmods I couldn’t see it elsewhere but feel free to delete if it’s a duplicate, any chance of pinning until 16th?

I feel like we appointed the polar opposite of the prev manager so think he deserves the next window to build his team. I will give him until November personally.
For the record I feel we sacked the last guy too soon as well.

We should be footing the bill for this. Embarrassing that it’s not just been agreed without questioning.

Looked awful tonight, the other team in the city had 3 games on theirs on a single weekend and it’s much better than ours. We had a decent pitch a few seasons ago not sure if we’ve changed groundsman but our pitch is terrible and has been for a while now Bizarre post. There were rivers in the streets last night, the pitch held up unbelievably well under the circumstances.

The worst thing about playing Thames Valley United is the number of half witted numbnuts whom follow both clubs, paradingbiut trying to.look "hard". As intimidating as candy floss and a complete waste of police time. Those fake stone island jumpers could be used at the animal rescue centre as blankets for the poor souls abandoned by their "owners". Yep no doubt they will be in the south stand as close to the away fans as possible.

Have witnessed that 3 times this season, never before. Not a coincidence for me! I think she’s trying to have you on the bonnet. My wife would be livid.

it's in the interests of local residents that as many people as possible can leave the area as quickly as possible after the match. It would make sense to have that exit in place (even if we dont use it for now unless an emergency) before asking for planning permission for a higher capacity. Exiting the ground after the Charlton match, someone who lives on that new street right next to the Mem was genuinely trying to re-enter said estate by car right on full time. Sat stationary as thousands filtered past and out onto Filton Ave. someone wished her luck & she said “I’m only trying to get home” (with a smirk) Can’t believe for a second those residents don’t know when we’re playing or have the brains to check the fixtures. Have witnessed that 3 times this season, never before. Not a coincidence for me!

There could be access from Alton Road - never really understood how we gave up a historical access point so easily. When the station opens in Ashley Down would Alton Road not be a shorter walk ? Locals can't have it all ways, don't want cars but block off pedestrian access routes ... I do think there is a case for re-opening that entrance. Ellicot road as well possibly

What's all the moaning about, the Barton bashers got what they wanted league 2 quality instead of league 1 promotion chasers. You should be happy and celebrating, you chose this just remember that Could you talk us through the points in Barton’s time when we were chasing league 1 promotion? Only thing he has chased in the last 18 months is attention.
