We were watching from the Thatchers. The bit of material segregating the fans moving.
The Derby fans moved it considerably towards the rovers fans and the one next the Rovers fans was like when your pants start falling down.

Only Rovers BoD couldn't see the issues with selling cheap tickets to seats next to the away fans to anybody who wants one.
You only have to go to the odd away game where this happens to see the issues it can create.

It does not take a genius to figure out what was going to happen regarding the South Stand and the close proximity of home and away fans - except those who organise these things … maybe. I bet health and safety had a potential heart attack when the Derby fans started jumping up and down bouncing … proved the nuts n bolts were tight enough 👀 😉

As I was leaving the South stand 3 or 4 minutes from time lots of people were running towards the stand from the West terrace and thatchers, maybe looking to cause mayhem!

My 4th time in block G wont be sitting there again. The same lads at the top with two 40 something bloke who are probs their Dads acting hard as. Then loads more little cherubs turned up trying to push in where were we sitting . Where did they get their tickets from ? Oh yes from their mates who were bragging that they were sending them screen shots of theirs . Not to mention the family who turned up with tickets in hand only to be told by one of the 40 somethings its sit where you want so do one . If Derby would of came across they would of all ran a mile , embarrassing.....

The club must, before next season, make a statement regarding their policy regarding the South stand and the possibility of fans standing in front of children and other people like myself who cannot stand to watch the game. This sort of behaviour can only cause friction between fans resulting in possible trouble. Stewards must be able to enforce seating only rules. After watching the Man Utd v Everton match on television, how the hell does a small child watch the match from the Stratford end where everybody was standing.

I'm glad I don't go because I'd probably head for the south stand if I were to take the kids. If some dickhead trys speaking to me like that in front of my daughters it would end up getting messy 100%. |
