Look most people in this forum are from an age group that basically go to games and create little atmosphere. Sat/stood waiting for god no's what. The atmosphere at the mem is generally dire . I watched the Liverpool man city game 75% stood up creating a fantastic atmosphere. But if you want to sit and stare for 90 minutes and not create an atmosphere then so be it

Maybe you should be interested, nothing wrong with a bit of common courtesy or appreciation of fellow supporters. Pi55 off you bore 🙄 Coming from a caravan owner, that's pretty ironic. 😁

What’s happened to a bit of respect to fellow supporters? Each to their own. If you want to stand don’t book a seat. Don’t insult others that want to sit - often because they are no longer able to stand and what about the youngsters that aren’t yet tall enough to see over adults? They are our future and may want to stand in due course (but won’t get the bug if blocked off all the time.) Don’t throw insults around on this forum either please. I agree with you that the West Stand has lacked atmosphere at times this season but that reflects the football to some extent in a meh season. UTG!

Gas chat ultras ffs, everyone can do what they want but dont impinge on others, in East stand toilets bloke using the C word every other word, in front of an 8 year old, when challenged kicked off, "we ve had a drink, I've paid to get in I can say what I want," the club need to sort out the south stand it ain't sit where you want, in the East you would get cloated with a bag of werthers if you sit where you want😂

Mr No? Is he related to Dr. No? The sinister head of Spectre, in the James Bond film of the same name.

Take a chill pill John. And please don't reference me again as you are to much of a cardboard cutout. Regards. Im not interested John is hardly a cardboard cut out supporter. He's done more for the club and supporters and their interests than almost anyone. Nothing wrong with him and others asking for fellow supporters to be respectful of each other.

Surely making it safe standing would solve the issue? At least in parts of the Souf Stand if not all of it. It wouldn't, some people cannot stand up for 90 minutes. Kind regards John Malyckyj What I mean is give them options. Front half seating only, last 10 rows safe standing which is an option to stand at certain points in the match...

Surely making it safe standing would solve the issue? At least in parts of the Souf Stand if not all of it. Why do we need safe standing when over 50% of the capacity of the Mem is terracing? The South Stand was desperately needed to meet the demand for seating which clearly exists. It is being hijacked by those who think they can do what they and where they like. Times are a changing. We want to sit comfortably in our seats in the South Stand without idiots jumping up and down, trying to attack away fans, hurling abuse even at other Rovers fans or throwing flares on the pitch. But the plan is to make the Mem all seater now. So this is thinking ahead. You could employ a system where the last x amount of rows are safe standing and apply that to any new build and give fans options.

The south stand wont (possibility can't) be made all or part safe standing. The point of the stand was more seats.
This issue will be less of a problem next year when ST holders have the blocks on the west side and middle. Week in week out the same people who bought a ST will mean more likely to be sat and respectful to others. If the neatest the away fans is a free for all on a match by match basis then hopefully atmosphere is decent and stewards can cope with any silliness.
I assume we employ a different level of steward to be there than general look at your ticket and look bored stewards in sterile home areas. Should certainly be more qualified and better paid. Risk related ain't it.

Why should I be forced to stand after buying a stand seat in the South stand. If o2o2bo2ba wants to stand, make your way to Thatchers and let those who can't stand for too long stay in their seats to enjoy the game. Making the South stand a safe standing area only destroys the purpose of the seats. I would argue it offers choice. Choice especially to groups that wish to stand and sit. But I take your point, there are plenty of standing spaces available without the usurping of a seated area.....to add balance, many Derby fans chose to stand in the back rows too. It's a common scenario..

I give up they could even get themselves dressed in the morning...

Glad you see that. Your choice is to stand up in a seat others have paid for, block the view of young, infirm and elderly, use foul language and insult fellow paying gasheads. You really, really need to rethink your lifestyle choices. I hope nobody ever treats you in the future the way you treat people now.

Yes, I am one of those who have paid for a seat and have the right to sit in it to watch the game. I do not expect to be subject to some standing, swearing and abusing me when asked to sit down. Since 1952 I have followed this great club through thick and thin and have become sick of people like Bluetooth telling me what to do.There is an element in this country who consider that the rules and standards do not apply to them. People like them need to take a long look at themselves.

Perhaps going back to skool and learning what the difference is between "no" and "know" might be a good start?
