My reference to cardboard cut out zombies relates to supporters who don't vocally support the team on match days. To me you go to a game to vocally support the team. But each to his own. Hmmmmmmmmm Pretty sure there's no rule which says you have to sing "Irene" etc to be a football fan, regardless I'm sure most fans are capable of doing that whilst sat down.

Topper a odd reply. Read what I messaged Perhaps you need to explain what you mean by "vocal support" as there's not many fans who don't make a noise of some kind, unless we're 3-0 to Derby!!

Im saying the vocal support is one of the main advantages of playing at home. But so many choose to not vocally support the team. That's obvious but not to some.

Perhaps going back to skool and learning what the difference is between "no" and "know" might be a good start? Also, to and too.

Yes, I am one of those who have paid for a seat and have the right to sit in it to watch the game. I do not expect to be subject to some standing, swearing and abusing me when asked to sit down. Since 1952 I have followed this great club through thick and thin and have become sick of people like Bluetooth telling me what to do.There is an element in this country who consider that the rules and standards do not apply to them. People like them need to take a long look at themselves. Problem is they know that clubs are usually too weak to deal with the issues, Rovers knew there was an issue before Saturday's a game but seemed to do little to enforce the no standing rule. I had a guy sat in my allocated seat, in the old south and it was full, he refused to move. I move as the steward did bugger all. He then sat on my lap. I had no choice but to get aggressive and, after what seemed an age, he moved. It seems the stewards and intimidated by blokes like that. Really high time something was done about it.

I have stood or sat in almost every part of the ground and I think there is decent vocal support ( and plenty of vocal abuse ) in all parts of the ground. Spent years as a season ticket holder stood on the Blackthorn End and in the Popular side at Twerton. Stood and sat at Eastville as a child. These days I am sat down in the East and the atmosphere there is decent with plenty of vocal support and singing.
Do I think people who go to games just to stare at and goad the away fans are supporting the team better than those sat down ? Clearly not.
