Does ‘trying to create atmsophere’ include wearing a fake Stone Island garment, gesturing at people you’ll never stand within 30ft of & singing Goodnight Irene at such a pace no one knows what’s actually being said🧐🫤

Yes, I am one of those who have paid for a seat and have the right to sit in it to watch the game. I do not expect to be subject to some standing, swearing and abusing me when asked to sit down. Since 1952 I have followed this great club through thick and thin and have become sick of people like Bluetooth telling me what to do.There is an element in this country who consider that the rules and standards do not apply to them. People like them need to take a long look at themselves. Unfortunately that element appears to be considerable and not just confined to the male population, football is just the thin end of the wedge!

Problem is they know that clubs are usually too weak to deal with the issues, Rovers knew there was an issue before Saturday's a game but seemed to do little to enforce the no standing rule.

I don’t no what you’re on about Knowing me,Knowing you aha!! Knowing me, Knowing you was by ABBA A Ha did take on me, amongst others !!! seriously tho, this attitude/behaviour ( which has been talked about in this thread) is a throwback to the bad days of the 70’s/80’s…….. I’m sure if a gashead was sat/stood next to a Derby fan (or any other club come to that, well apart from a Ted) at an international game, there’d be banter, but both would be wanting the same result ? all seems rather childish to me, just my views obviously UTG

Trouble may be that we are at least two generations on from the ‘real’ hooliganism of the 70s. Those that were there and caught up in it don’t want to ever see it again. People getting seriously hurt, coaches having their windows put in so everyone froze on the way back from Cardiff, trains wrecked so BR stopped running football specials. Nobody can drink in sight of the pitch anymore because of those dark days. Those causing most of the trouble now have no understanding of the realities of those days, neither did their parents who enjoyed relative calm after the mayhem. Too much ‘entitlement’ and learnt selfishness and I’m all right Jack, very little belief in ‘society’ any more. UTG!

She changed the mindset of the UK, and not in a nice way.

Well I can remember being on a supporter’s club coach going to the old Bolton ground ( mid 70’s) & being told to get on the floor as “this was where the coach was attacked last year” !!!! As mentioned before, the overall behaviour of some has drastically worsened since the pandemic & the lack of respect of authority is leading to god knows what !!! You only need to look at the illiteracy on some of the posts on this forum to realise “ we’re doomed” UTG

TBH I find all that gesticulating across the net absolutely childish and cringe worthy. The mistake is to make eye contact, which fuels them. I ignore the Pratts and focus on the game and getting behind my Team. I take a stealth photo of the Perps, so I can follow them home and choke them to death in their own bed. You should see the look on their face 🤣

Knowing me,Knowing you aha!! Knowing me, Knowing you was by ABBA I think, Clockendgas was quoting from the lyrics of the song, rather than labouring under the misapprehension that Aha sang it.

But wider is correct and perhaps add to that people not taking responsibility for their own actions and always looking elsewhere to blame. Everyone owns their own behaviour, no one else. UTG!

South Stand Ultras? Really? That’s just embarrassing!
Some fans should have experienced the days of non segregation where largely fans had to respect each other a bit more…obviously not everyone…but you certainly couldn’t chant what you wanted from the safety of your own zone.

My reference to cardboard cut out zombies relates to supporters who don't vocally support the team on match days. To me you go to a game to vocally support the team. But each to his own. Hmmmmmmmmm
