So un-arsed about today I’ve stayed at home despite having a ticket. Won’t be bothered if we lose at all if it means DC and a local side have more chance of staying up. Which means we will draw. Before anyone says it, I don’t care if someone is horrified I’m indifferent to our result

No goals in 3 games, nothing much to cheer and no game for almost 2 weeks. Now would be a good time to show us the proposed designs for the new East Stand. Something other than poor results to talk about ... No goals in 7 games, nothing much to cheer for more than 5 weeks. Now would be a good time to show us the proposed designs for the new East Stand. Something other than poor results to talk about ... Imagine the current South stand chopped in half and stick half each side of the current East Stand, and you have your redevelopment. For the Thatchers I’d be surprised if it was anything more than another south stand build behind the existing terrace as a “second tier”.

Amazing how impatient football fans/the population is. We are mid table league one, is it really that uncomfortable? A few games ago we won 3/4, and now after a handful of games it’s turf the manager out and start again.. really?
I have my own doubts about the manager, but the modern day sacking culture has gone too far. Give the man a proper summer window and a fair chance. I get people are upset about Barton, but he made his position untenable himself with his off field antics, so those beds have to be made and led in.

Mangan would be a very deflating choice, especially with talk of Taylor

Having just listened to the interview, the wording sounds exactly like we will be adding to the existing East stand (extending the current seated part or adding seats either side) and keeping the terrace below. Finished with commenting it will do us for the years to come. Sounds like we are increasing the capacity with a few extra seats before going for a new stadium when we reach higher levels.
The only part that doesnt make sense to the above is the Thatchers. Unless we would extend it backwards, that one would need to be demolished and rebuilt.

For me it's a certainty and I know this post is a massive negative and we are still in September but this has all the makings of disaster written all over it and I'm not just talking about the football on the pitch. Take away our poor luck with injuries so far and look at the bigger picture and I see for 1 that JBs signings this season are his 4th or 5th choice down the line of main targets if not further 🤔2 and again I will be shut down for saying this but (Wael) needs to employ a man who has the knowledge of running a football club and who can make off the field decisions and push this club forward. For all his so say money and debt he's cleared for the club he has no sense on how to progress a football club and we/he is losing 84k per week at Rovers so where is the future for him and us financially? I can see Joey walking by January and personally I don't lay the blame with him for our poor start but Wael has been here long enough and I can't see him being any different than the previous when it comes to progression off the field. With many places to build a stadium and the option to redevelop our current ground we still see and hear nothing good and I'm afraid we are going back to league two. Did you make any predictions last September (or October-December) where we would finish last season? Some people have very short memories.

“9 days of mourning” apparently so it might not just be this weekends games. Does mourning just mean no football? Not sure This weekends games would certainly be scrapped I think. TV channels would all be showing the same thing for a few days as well if it’s anything like the Duke of Edinburgh’s passing. Not a good time to have trains to MK booked

Does anyone know if these cup games are available to watch on foreign IFollows or firesticks with ifollow?

Virtually zero chance of that happening now Mrs B is prepared to support him by giving a statement, I wouldn't be surprised if the case is now dropped or, if it's not, the trial is adjourned yet again. Thanks m’lud 👍 I stand to be corrected, but domestic abuse is the one area where they will proceed with charges regardless of what the victim says, for obvious reasons. If they have bodycam footage of/or statements from her from the night, I’d be concerned. In saying that, the CPS proceeded with the Stendel case despite it being obvious there wouldn’t be enough certainty for a conviction so..

And now schools are back, cases are plummeting again. Strange world. Who remembers this idiot ? 🙄 Good times You really aren’t that bright are you? I’m beginning to wonder if I’m arguing with someone who is mentally challenged, if so I apologise. Unless of course I shouldn’t find it strange that cases drop after schools reopen? At least when I am wrong, I have no problem recognising it happens. Try it

Based on yesterday's figures of cases per million of population.... UK.........640 Romania....992 Bulgaria...729 Or maybe they're using figures lower than the UK . Wonder why ? Why would you expect the UK to be doing better than "Old Eastern European Countries " baring in mind both these countries have been members of the EU for the past 15 years. It also states on the graph " Number of confirmed cases is lower than the number of actual cases, the main reason for that is limited testing" Baring in mind the UK has undertaken more tests than the 3 biggest countries on that graph namely Germany, France and Italy put together and over 100 million more tests than all the others put together. So could there be a small element of truth in what I've previously said "that during a pandemic the more testing you do the more chance you have of positive results" This is hard work 😓 We’ve tested more because more people think they might have covid , so more people go for a test . As for the Eastern European countries and their infrastructure etc I would of thought that was quite obvious. Simple conclusions from simple people… here are the facts (last time I checked anyway, I can’t imagine its changed much) Not so long ago Germany had a positivity rate of 8-10% and 2-3x higher than the uk, suggesting they miss a fair chunk of positive cases. Germany also tests 1/10 of the amount we do. Some countries either charge for tests, or are about to. “Plan B” will do sod all, it’s just more fear driven media hype, which is why Yatton has got the Kleenex out. You only have to see the rest of the U.K, which already had it, to see that. The public do not have an appetite for the restrictions that would actually get somewhere.
