Player Manger; he's the same age as Jamie Cureton.

Could Paul Hurst work miracles with Payne & Rodman again? To be fair, he dropped Payne for most of the second half of last season. Just the man we need then.

Anyone mentioned Martin Allen? I think he's spoken well of Rovers support. Came very close to saving Barnet last season,. As a fire fighter, could just keep the Gas up.

Don't see how Bonham derserve's a higher score than Smith. The first goal was backpass speed. Just swapping them for Gills keeper would have seen a comfortable win for |Rovers.

Gareth Taylor started as CB, John Ward put him along side Marcus Stewart, really effective striker, of course Rovers sold him.

Bonham 5 Worst game so far, Their keeper kept them in the game, Bonham didn't
Leadbitter 5.5 Few decent crosses. Craig 6.5 Reliable enough J Clarke 6 A trier but lack of pace compared to Locks makes it a hard position for him Martin 6.5 steady game with flashes of class Lines 5 Penalty wasn't good enough to beat Scunthorpes MoM Sercombe 8 Great goal always looked dangerous O Clarke 5 Back to drifting in and out of the game Bennett 4 Some really poor passes Nichols 7 If this was his first game, would think we had a decent buy. Payne 5 Best game so far
Matthews 4 He came on, they scored did nothing Jak NOLE Rodman Made an immediate impact, pity Lines couldn't put in a decent effort in from the freekick he won inches outside the penalty area.
DC 5 Without Locks seemed a decent team, he's no option but to start Nichols and Payne. Maybe should have taken Bennett off earlier.
Ref 4 Wasn't too bad, apart from listening to his lino, who couldn't be bothered to buy a cap from the "Super Store" to stop him being blinded by the Sun in his eyes.

If all ST holders take up this offer surely they will need a few more tents.

Think their safe from a fine Kelly started last game Partington, Martin played more than 40 games Jakubiak on loan from a club with a CAT 1 academy Watford are Cat 2, but I'd forgotten about Kelly, so I think you're right, as Reilly qualifies, I would think. But they are Premier "7.4.5 is on standard loan from a Premier League Club" Think that stands alone. If they are from EFL then they have to have CAT1

A question, should we make it through to the 3rd round of the FA Cup & get drawn away to Man City, will they get fined for not playing their first team ? They wouldn't dare risk playing a weak team against the gas

In my time supporting the Gas I think only three have averaged better than a goal every two games, with having played more than 100 games.
Geoff Bradford, Matt Taylor, Dai Ward.

Saw he has scored a few hat tricks this season. Will be interesting to see how he gets on in adult football. I've seen 4 or 5 National League South games this season (another one tomorrow) and the standard is good and improving every year. If he can impress at Gloucester he can come back and maybe stake his claim for a first team place here. If you're good enough, you are old enough IMHO. As Manse says: "It's a great opportunity for Harry." "Harry's loan to Gloucester represents the highest level that any of the academy players have ever played at - whilst still with the Academy. "This will provide a valuable learning experience for him and we will be keeping a close track on his progress and look forward to seeing him showcase his talents." On the bench tonight, Wealdstone have a Bubb and Mensah in their team!

Nigel Pierre.? Excuse spelling but ??, 350k for 1 league goal is likely to stand the test of time as the worst signing in the club's history, and there has been some illustrious competition! Tom Nichols is better than Bob Lee who Terry Cooper signed for £50k in 1981

A bit irrelevant because we don’t have a vacancy and I hope we don’t. DC stuck with us when a big team, Leeds, came calling. Now we’re having a tough patch we should stick with him and with a contact with nearly 3 years to go I think we will. Istr a thread on here back in the summer about Hurst moving up whilst DC was left stuck in League 1. We certainly don’t need him here, I said it at the time and still think DC is a better manager than Hurst. DCs record is better and he plays a better style of football. (Yes I know it’s tough atm) The way he is supposed to have left Shrewsbury according to Shrews fans (he’d agreed to join Ipswich before their play off final appearance) hasn’t made him very popular and they’re quite happy about what’s happened. Neither do some Grimsby fans have fond memories of him and he never kicked on with them as DC did with us. Perhaps that will teach Ipswich fans to be careful what they wish for. UTG! I should imagine Hurst is about as popular in Shrewsbury as that two-faced arsehole snake is in north and east Bristol. I am still watered off with him because I doubt any other Championship manager would have taken a punt on Ellis, and if we still had him we would probably have several more points on the board. Even more watered off he didn't take Payne as well.

Over heard in the crowd he is out favour, his last game was Walsall. Quite a few including me made him MOTM.
