Jeez. I find myself in a precarious situation. I'm in the majority.
So disappointed. We need to act decisively to prevent going down and give ourselves the best opportunity.
I fear we won't do anything of the like and we'll take the cheapest option.

Oh well,if we sign nobody at least we’ll know they have officially given up on our league 1 status.

The fact we still have 3 keepers concerns me that complacency has set in and we are just accepting the situation we are in.

It's absolutely scandalous we are yet to make any signings. We have known since September / October that we needed 2 strikers or we were in massive trouble. We have statistically the worst strikers in the EFL and regardless of who was in charge come Jan 2nd two strikers should have been in the door and now firmly bedded in with the squad for the remainder of the season. Were sinking without any fight and imo it's a disgrace.

It’s increasingly clear we don’t have any money to spend
We’ve shipped out 2 members of the defence, where we will be painfully short should a centre back or Clarke/ THD get injured
We need to hope to keep Bonham
Midfield we have adequate numbers (so no need to add here... debates will come in the summer as to whether good enough)
So that leaves the forwards..... For me it’s obvious Payne is not the answer and Reilly doesn’t appear ready to become the focal point..... if we can only afford one loan it has to be a big preferably experienced ugly centre forward for the likes of Jak and Nichols to feed off
In an ideal world, a big battering ram centre back, a left winger and a big old forward, but I suspect we will not be seeing many in.
Love to proved wrong and Widdrington has a few gems up his sleeve?

If we don't sign anyone who is going to make a difference I'm not sure that I will bother going again this season. I didn't go to the Doncaster game because I thought, well I've seen enough crap already. And that was the first game I had missed at home in the last 8 seasons. I look at this team and there is little drive, a basic lack of understanding and whoever you play up front misses the easiest chances in the game. Clarke really **ed us signing these Payne and Nichols

Do we include today, Sunday, in the days left to sign anyone? That's what, 4 and a bit days to sign someone? Not a chance.
This is it now till the end of the Season. God help us.

I think everyone agrees we needed 3 or 4 quality additions this month to give us a realistic chance of staying up. Unfortunately, even one signing is now looking increasingly unlikely.
If we keep hold of Bonham we're fine for keepers. In fact with Slocombe back we might as well loan Smith out if we can.
Having lost Broadbent and Martin we're a little short at the back and could maybe do with another CB but we could probably make do as JC can do a decent job there.
We have quite a few midfielders but are enough L1 standard? Sercombe, Rodman and O.Clarke yes, the others I'm not so sure. As with the defence, one or two additions would have been nice but probably not essential.
Up front I think we all agree we need at least 1 new striker, maybe 2. Personally I think we should be looking for a good partner for Nichols which would leave Jakubiak as an impact sub.
So although I'd have liked 3 or 4 additions the priority has to be a striker. I'd rather have one top quality striker than 3 or 4 decent players covering a number of positions. Unfortunately I don't even think we'll get that.
